  • @ 6:45 It's none of your business you stupid fuck!!!! The Militia is gonna kick your ass.

  • so with all these gun laws in NJ, do people still get shot, lol

    dumb asses

gun laws arn't to stop shootings, they're to remove guns from the people, slowly, one law at a time.

  • She asks, "What should the people do that have been the victims of gun violence?" Answer....buy a gun and learn to defend yourself you numbskull!

  • New Jersey never sought to ban hand guns, what we do is control access to them.

That is so scary. who are they to control access to them? How could they have that kind of power?

  • I believe in strict gun control, but gun control isn't about guns, it's about control. Make sure the man with a gun on his hand knows what it is, and how to act as a responsible citizen, don't punish him.

"If guns kill people, my spoon made me fat."- Larry the Cable Guy

  • What of the Columbine killers stabbed and hung their victims? Would we need a license for rope and knives? What if a robber hits a man with a brick? Do I need a blunt object license?

  • Responsible gun ownership means you just make damn sure the business end of the weapon is pointed at a criminal. Period. To deny that lawful gun ownership reduces crime is slowly staring to be regarded as ignorant a thought as stating that the earth is flat and all blacks are criminals. Chew on that hippies!

  • Was the 2nd Amendment meant for individuals or just the government? Just look no further than the personal examples of our Founding Fathers. They all had guns, long before and after they were members of our government. Look at their own personal writings and quotes on individual gun ownership. To argue anything otherwise is both un-American and against all fact and logic.

  • "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson

  • You wanna know what that magic bullet is. Give the people power to decide to protect themselves.

  • THE FOCUS HAS TO BE ON THE CRIMINAL, NOT THE INANIMATE OBJECT

  • Police don't protect us, they show up after they finish their donuts and investigate who killed us.

We need to elect Ron Paul. A president who takes his orders from the Constitution. His goal is to reduce the power of federal government. A politician who aims to reduce his own power.

  • @qwexas Police are only required to protect the community, not the individual. What does electing Ron Paul have to do with this?

As far as protecting ourselves, every state has their own specifics on self-defense requirements. And if you think you need a gun to protect yourself, you shouldn't have one.

  • @MrEmango1 People say we don't need guns because cops will protect us, but they won't. If someone breaks into my house, who will protect me? I probably wouldn't even need to shoot a gun, just having one would make a criminal think twice. A defenseless victim is an invitation. I want a president who is pro-gun, and pro-liberty, not one who tries & fails to protect me by disarming me. Gun control laws only restrict law-abiding citizens.

  • @qwexas You think having a gun will make a criminal think twice? Deal with them that often? However, you need to look at your state's self-defense laws. Just because you are in your home doesn't mean that you CAN legally shoot them (there are a few states that allow that, most don't). I'm pro-gun. I'm also pro-keeping our rights, but gun owners that don't use common sense help the otherside take them away from us.

  • @qwexas Also, not having a gun doesn't make you a "defenseless victim". You know how many people thwarted a home robbery or assault using a bat or golf club? More than with a gun.

  • @MrEmango1 "If you think you need a gun to protect yourself, you shouldn't have one." Everyone should own a gun for home and self defense. The more guns people have the less crime there is, proven fact.

  • @IndependentForPres No, not everyone. There are people that make it perfectly clear that they can not handle that kind of responsibility. And no, it's not a proven fact that the more guns people have drops the crime rate. Proven fact: you can only hold 2 guns at a time. Now, even if you were to say "the more people own guns...", but still, it's not a fact that crime WILL be reduced. However, IF the criminals think that pretty much anyone might be carrying, then yes, the crime rate will go down.

  • @MrEmango1 Statistics indicate you are full of shit. Check the recent government statistics that were recently published on areas where gun control laws have been abolished. See Chicago's for example.

  • @BabsControl Chicago is an example of what? Criminals getting away with anything and everything, while the law abiding citizens are being raped and murdered?

And what government source would you like me to look at? Which biased source do you think we should use? Bloomberg's false claims?

  • @IndependentForPres Also, you seem to have missed what I was saying. It's ok, I don't expect most people on here you use common sense and logic.

  • illegals do NOT go into gun stores and attempt to buy guns and say "darn it, i can buy a gun, shucks!" they steal, trade drugs, ect for these guns! stupid liberals!

  • " Among the many misdeeds of the British rule in India, history will look upon the Act depriving a whole nation of arms the blackest."

    -Mohandas Ghandi

If FREAKING GHANDI supports gun rights, WHY shouldn't you?

  • @MrBeesness Maybe because Ghandi was a freak? (as you just said) I'm kidding, of course. Good point!

  • @MrBeesness Ghandi's mis-attributed quotes regarding guns pertain NOT to private ownership of guns, but refer to the British Government's refusal to enlist Indian troops into the WW1 war effort.

  • That amendment is not talking about guns. It's talking about your limbs. You may keep and bare your arms.

  • 60 Million Legal Adult Gun Owners in the U.S. (or 45% of all the households in the U.S. have at least 1Legal gun, depending on which estimates you deem reliable)

And according to the Supreme Court we are still Legal.

Any type of Gun Control can only apply to those who are willing to abide by the Laws.

    We are NOT the problem.

    We never were.

Gun Control is almost too ridiculous to contemplate.

  • backpedal .....faster......... NOW.

  • Had to laugh at Megan Vega's "what do you say to the people who have be the victim of gun violence" comment. She hit on the key point without even realizing it. Criminals are using guns and people are dying, even with New Jersey's anti-gun laws. The laws aren't working. When facing those armed criminals, unarmed victims have no power - no way to defend themselves. Pro-gun advocates simply want to restore the balance of power, for themselves and others (as our forefathers intended).

  • @stewartx5 Just to add to your point. Being a woman I find it odd that any woman is for gun control because if a young healthy male wants to kill me it doesn't matter if he has a gun or not. I can't defend myself against a healthy man & very few women can. If there is a man intent on killing me I am far better off having a gun even if he has one too because I at least have a fair chance & I wouldn't if nobody was armed. Do we really want to give young healthy males a monopoly on use of force?

  • @shananagans5

Well said and I agree. My wife was lucky enough to walk away unharmed from several serious incidents in her life, but no need to press her luck, especially since she (not me) is getting older. Crime seems to be ever increasing as well, with the elderly increasingly being targeted. We're returning to the USA tomorrow, with firearms on our shopping list. She's had weapons training, so no problem with the carry or use of a firearm.

  • @stewartx5 lol I have that same problem. Everyone around me is getting older. Have a great trip home.

  • Pwnt at 3:20

  • Fuck the un who cares I'm a us citizen I don't answer to the un or care about the un. Anti gun facist , govt, rothchild , rockefeller you will never get my guns. NEVER lmao you can however have one of my bullets......

  • 1 word fucking pwned

  • What the hell dude. I'm a pro-gun liberal, but I seriously dont know why that pro-gun guy just jumped down the throat the guy from CeaseFire after he applauded the pro-gun decision.

  • OWNED ...these fucking pussies will never take the guns of WE THE PEOPLE...that is because it takes strong confident men and women to disarm a strong and confident person...people who are afraid of guns are neither and never will be ...so therefore they will not get them ever...

  • New Jersey's gun laws only ensure citizens will continue to be preyed on by thugs. That's why I moved to Pennsylvania, where people have common sense. And look where New Jersey's gone since...

  • Well, since I'm US Army, that means I get to own guns! Eat me, Anti-gun commies!!

  • Fuck this skinny retard. What the hell would you ban a .50 cal for? Who the hell uses a 40 pound, 52 inch .50 caliber rifle to rob a house?... Bastard with no common sense...

  • @SuperSneakySniper Based off a Brady (bunch) Campaign propaganda bit that thought that they could be used to shoot Jet's out of the sky.

  • What's so controversial about the Second Amendment? "...the Right of the ***PEOPLE*** to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." People...not the Militia.

  • Someone once told me "People who want guns shouldn't have them. If only people who didn't like/want guns got guns, the world would be a better, juster and safer place."

It starts to make sense to me now. It serves no pragmatical use, because banning guns doesn't mean they stop being around for people bent on using them, but it"s a nice philosophical quote. If you are that bent on lethal weaponry, it's probably safer for everyone if you don"t have it.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH You have no idea how many guns are out there right now do you?

3.7 Billion guns in the USA, 12 guns for every person in the country (legally).

The amount of problems with guns are a mere fraction of the amount that's out there.

Cars, Smoking, and unhealthy foods kill 50x more people every year than guns do, but you don't want those banned? Hypocrisy Much???

Cars are already registered & licensed, but they kill 10x more than guns every year, there's only 250 mil out there.

  • @NinjaRider777R

Are you suffering from a mental condition? I already established I don't want guns banned. Not every person who disagrees with you hicks wants guns banned, I'm for gun rights. But thanks for making clear to everyone why it is I don't want to be classed with you people, even though I'm in favor of gun rights.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH

" Not every person who disagrees with you hicks"

    "Hicks" ???

    I am a Registered Nurse who also has a B.S. in I.T.

I have been around the world twice and visited every continent.

I have raised 4 Sons who are all either successful Engineers or Businessmen.

I am also a Legal Gun Owner and a decorated Veteran.

    Am I a "Hick" ?

  • @NinjaRider777R

In 1997 there were a total of 192 million guns in the U.S.

Guns in America:....Summary Report, Washington, DC: Police Foundation, 1997

  • @RetSquid What the FUCK is the point of using stats that are 14 YEARS out of date, and to make matters worse, compiled by people who DON'T want citizens armed???

The 3.7 Billion number comes from totaling the numbers from all the guns ever made in this country and shipped to this country, 12 guns for every person in the USA, that's civilian AND military weapons combined, and civilians have more guns than all the military branches combined.

  • @NinjaRider777R

I think you pulled the number out of your ass.

According to the U.N. there is a GLOBAL stockpile of 639 million known small arms.

In 2001 there were about 250 million in the U.S. or 84 per 100 people.

Your number may work if you go back to the the 1600s for "all the guns ever made"...maybe...

  • @RetSquid You do realize that the UN considers "small arms" to be JUST handguns right???

And they're the architects of the CIFTA treaty, the one that criminalizes free speech, grants extradition rights to treaty nations to arrest for violations of speech then extradite and "punish" (that being the latest euphemism for torture and execution), and removes the 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms.

  • @NinjaRider777R

Wrong again, the official U.N. definition is: “Small arms” are, broadly speaking, weapons designed for individual use. They include, inter alia, revolvers and self-loading pistols, rifles and carbines, sub-machine guns, assault rifles and light machine guns.

I am pro-gun and have a CCW. I was just saying your numbers were WAY off.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH So people who thought guns were icky and evil would get guns, but people with an interest with the mechanics of a gun or interested in the ability to defend themselves are "gun nuts" who shouldn't have guns.

That's a philosophy? A 7 year old could point out the logical fallacy of that person you know.

So interested in driving? Probably a street racer aren't you? Sounds like dumb reasoning right? Same goes to your illogical phobia of people who own guns.

    I wont kill you, relax.

  • @MachShot1337

If a seven year old could do it, than why don"t you? Which logical fallacy do you see?

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH According to your half-assed logic, the only people that WANT things are going to do illegal things with them.

The theory that "OMG HE COULD SNAP" is 100% pure bullshit and you know it.

Registration is NOT going to stop any criminal because criminals, by their very definition, do NOT follow the laws to begin with.

What happened after Katrina PROVES that registration is a bad thing.

  • @NinjaRider777R

What PROVES something if anything is that your prison population and gun crimes per capita are still higher than that of any Western country with registration.

  • @NinjaRider777R

My theory is not "OMG he could snap", my theory is "Best check if someone os obviously going to snap before handing him an m60 and a couple thousand rounds".

What happens after Katrina doesn't prove anything because it's but a mere example and the overall statistics, being those of the entire Western World as contrary to your events in the US, point to the opposite conclusion.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH There is NO way to determine future events, so your first theory is bullshit as usual.

As for the "entire western world" crap.....

    /watch?v=jFp51KusLmU

Watch the whole thing, in the last 100 years, 170 Million people dead thanks to gun confiscation world wide, many of them in THIS country. The first anti-gun laws in the USA were meant to keep non-whites from owning guns.

So what happened after Katrina wasn't anything new.

    Registration solves NOTHING.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH Oh Lawdy, you're a smart one.

By me saying "a 7yo could do it" in a condescending way, it is strongly implied for those who didn't drop out of school that I too as well as everyone who watched this could accomplish said task. If I couldn't point out the same fallacy, there is no way I could realize there was a fallacy to be corrected in the first place. You have the critical thinking skills of a rock.

Btw, me calling you smart was sarcasm if you didn't pick that up.

  • @MachShot1337

No, honestly, tell me the name of the logical fallacy I used.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH The concept that only the people who don't want something should get that something. It assumes, at least in the case of guns, that everyone that wants a gun to some degree wants to kill folks. It ignores entirely that those people getting the guns in your idea still don't want the guns and likely don't know how to use it. It's illogical and discriminatory.

Some people enjoy the mechanics, history, or the defense guns offer. Doesn't mean they or I plan to kill.

  • to all you gun grabbing slime filth,,COME AND TAKE IT.

  • That was used to kill people

  • I think there's this whole taboo around guns because they are considered almost obsolete in a modern society because we like to think that are society is perfect and that's what we should strive to achieve I suppose but were far from there. Not all guns rights activists are methed up hicks contrary to popular belief. Just because your afraid of guns doesn't mean there bad or that it will help to have them banned. Its a bit like calling the inventor on the revolver stupid because he made somethi

  • @angryasian2

Yes, but unfortunately, most in this comment section and on gun videos do seem to be hicks. I already explained, but I'm ashamed to be associated with these gun nuts, even though I'm in favor of gun rights.

  • " the Nazis did it" argument as you put it is actually a very legitimate one because If you look a t what the founding fathers were trying to do was prevent a tyrannical government case an point Nazi germany

  • @angryasian2

No because people bullshit me with that on every issue, from being a vegetarian to supporting animal right. "Nazi's did it" is at best an example, it's not an argument by itself, on the contrary, usually it's a fallacy.

  • Banning guns is just going to take them away from Law Abiding Citizens, not from the criminals who acquire guns illegally.

  • I moved from NH to FL about 6 months ago. I had to notify NJ state police that I was transporting my collection of firearms within the U HAUL ( they were to a T broken down and not available for use) or I could have faced criminal charges if I were pulled over on the turnpike. But the criminal buying it off the the street can have free reign. God Bless King George the III !!!! GEORGIUS REX!!!! Fuck New Jersey.

  • You people make me ashamed to be pro-gun rights.

  • Next time you're going to type "liberals come to take my guns, they are a disease",stop to think a few seconds. After that look up some facts and instead of going ad hominem, try to make a solid argument. That way you won't seem like someone who had better spent a few more years in class instead of at the shooting range.

I agree with what you people are saying, but they way you are saying it and trying to argue in favor of it is fucking ridiculous and an insult to people's intelligence.

  • I agree with gun-ownership, even though I think they should be registered and at least some waiting period should be required, but holy fuck, is this comment section filled with complete nitwits. I've been ashamed for agreeing with people before but on this video it's about as worse as it gets.

Stop lying, making up statistic and historical "facts". Stop you bullshit ad hominem attacks ideologies. At least try to act like you are civilized and responsible/sensible enough to carry a gun.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH Registration leads to confiscation, what happened in Nazi Germany and after hurricane Katrina proved that beyond all doubts.

  • @NinjaRider777R

If you shoot someone, I'd like to know if the gun is registered to you actually.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH Germany 1928, mandatory gun registration led to mandatory gun confiscation, which then led to 13 Million innocent people slaughtered because they couldn't defend themselves.

Guns have serial numbers on multiple parts inside and outside the gun, those numbers are linked directly to the buyer at the time of purchase, you don't need registration to find out who the owner is.

Registration has never stopped any crimes, it's only led to more of them.

  • @NinjaRider777R

Really, the "Nazi's did it"-argument is about the lowest you can go.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH FFS you idiots really need to learn some World History that doesn't have anything to do with 1492 to 1776 like most schools teach, they leave out the good stuff.

    /watch?v=jFp51KusLmU

170 Million people DEAD thanks to gun control laws that forced them to register or give up their guns.

Registration leads to confiscation, which leads to crime rates SKYROCKETING, which leads to the deaths of INNOCENT PEOPLE.

  • @NinjaRider777R

You need to take a good look at the US and Western Europe, see in which one most guns have to be registered and which has the most gun crimes per capita. So don't bullshit me by saying "registering guns is directly responsible for deaths". Banning guns might be, registering them is not.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH Hurricane Katrina, registration information was used to confiscate weapons, which resulted in higher crime rates, deaths, and even lengthy hospital stays for those who resisted having their guns taken.

    /watch?v=kf8trl69kzo

    /watch?v=B1Qx0cTze0M

    /watch?v=-taU9d26wT4

Also search YT for "Blackwater Katrina", Blackwater's paid mercenaries as well as Israeli soldiers were on the ground in the USA after Katrina, harassing citizens, confiscating guns and other illegal actions.

  • @NinjaRider777R

One event in over 50 years of higher gun crimes per capita of the US compared to other Western countries, where guns are registered.

If you happen to be deranged I'd like to know that at least you didn't have the luxury of just walking out of a store like it was Wal-Mart, with a gun and start shooting people.

  • @SSTTEEAALLTTHH It's hardly just one event in 50 years, do some research on Ruby Ridge and Waco and the official rules of engagement being changed by those who had no authority to do so. Also do some research into Canada's handgun ban and subsequent confiscation. Canada's been wanting a total ban since 1976.

Plus there's 5 other countries with worse gun crime than the USA, all of them have gun control that prevents any civilian from owning a weapon.

Englands crime has DOUBLED in the last 10yrs

  • Even if they go so far as to completely ban firearms to "reduce gun related killings" if someone REALLY wants a gun, they will get it.

  • people prisoners can make pipe / zip guns in prison dont you think they can make them from regular stuff if they rlly wanted to?

  • Arresting people/taking guns for not locking up a gun???? For not taking good care of your gun!?!? What the fuck is this??? Its worse than Communist China and Nazi Germany!

Whats next huh? "Oh you're not giving your children the right medication... you're not fucking them up on pain killers, you're not dressing your kids in the right clothes, you're not saying the right words, COME TO PRISON NOW!! "

    ...Fucking sickos!

  • @Takiado

"Its worse than Communist China and Nazi Germany!"

Not really because you could get arrested for simply disagreeing with the establishment there, in Nazi Germany you could even get arrested for limping or having a disability.

Check up on your history before commenting.

  • Gun Control is bu bu bu BULLSHIT!

  • @pwnagemuffinz, the govt will not try to control knives if guns disappear, because govt will still have guns. Do not be fooled about what gun control is about, it is solely for the purpose of removing the ability of the people to revolt against government, that is it. Once they have our guns, they have us.

  • I LIKE BIG GUNZ, EXPLOSSIONZZZ, GIRLLZ AND FAST CARS.....USA USA USA!

  • If you want to reduce gun violence, reduce criminals.

Guns don't kill people. Criminals with guns kill people.

  • @lpcogan that's exactly true. but the problem is is that people see a man who owns a gun and they think killer. and thats what really isnt fair, its just stereotyping to say that because a man owns a gun, he is a redneck or a mass murderer.

  • The best way to reduce gun violence? More guns in the hands of honest citizens.

It would also be nice if we would actually start punishing criminals in this country, but lord knows that will never happen.

"Somebody once told me that all gun owners are paranoid. What do I have to be paranoid about? I have a gun."

  • God the whole time watching this I kept hoping that the progunner would nut up and knock this cease fire fascist into next fn week, I have lost all my patience with these anti gun, lying fascists

  • My Pistol is either on my hip, near my hand or in a gun safe that can be opened in about the same amount of time it would take to draw from a holster. Do I sometimes carry it on my hip in my own home? You're damn right I do. Why? Because pizza gets to my house faster than the police, that's why.

  • How to regulate that right? If it's a right, you don't regulate it, period.

  • guns are just like really fast street bikes, they can be extremely dangerous if put in the hands of an irresponsible and or inexperienced person. Or they can be a tool used every day for their specific use and can be the safest thing in the world if handled correctly, and just because some people misuse them docent mean all the law abiding owners should be punished for what criminals have done.

  • many members of my family own weapons. my grandfather used to own a webley revolver and owns a BSA rifle. my uncle owns an elephant shotgun and many rounds of ammunition. not once have either of them ever used it against another person in anger.. you dont see them going out and shooting anyone do you? i, because i educate myself about firearms, have taught myself to respect them. but had i bought into the anti-gun stance, i would be clueless, and careless around guns

  • anything can be used as a weapon people arn't gonna ban kitchen knives, baseball bats or candle sticks are they. guns shouldn't be banned, anything can be dangerous if it's in the wrong hands, gun or not. also if you ban guns it makes them more desirable to people who don't care about the law.

  • Pro-gun guy is a dick, though. This isn't even a debate, it's just the big guy out-shouting/over-talking the smaller guy.

  • I needs my guns sos I can keep my bible from bein theived. Also to blast tyranny in the face.

  • Some people are evil. That's why I own a gun.

  • I don't think this 14 year old should have a gun. However responsible you are you should respect the laws - you are not old enough to have a weapon.

You may be responsible enough to be a responsible drinker or good driver, but you don't have the right to drink or drive, because you're not old enough.

  • @Norwification actually, in many states, it IS legal for a minor to possess a long gun, they just can't buy one. contradicting, but legal.

  • @too408 Yeah, I know. It's legal in other countries too, like Norway. It just seems from the way this 14 year old presented it that it was not legal in his state.

However, 14 is still too young for that legal exception, I think. 16 is a good age for that type of situation, and is also the age in Norway. They can only possess one as long as the parents agree to it, though.

  • @Norwification I'm 15 and I can legally own a long gun (rifles or shotguns), but not handguns. I can't buy them though so either my parents have to give me one or I have to make it myself.

  • @Whitekid762 Yeah, depends from state to state and whether one has a hunting license and all of that. Hey I've got a little brother who's 17 and he's got a shotgun and a hunting license, which is legal. He can't buy it but I don't mind him having it.

All I'm saying is that you should follow the law and not give guns to minors who aren't legally allowed to own them. Good job making a rifle by the way haha.

  • When they ban guns because they blame guns on murders instead of criminals, then we should pass a law making drunk driving legal,as it would be the cars fault i ran into your family while operating my car with a BA level x3 the legal limit, and not my fault or lack of insight, judgement, integrity, and discipline.

  • Banning gun will only cause more violence, Think about it drugs are illegal people still get they're hands on them... Same with gun bad people WILL STILL get there hands on guns... When that the happens the normal people wont be able to protect them selfs from bad people... Another thing you go on a hike with you family/ friends and one of your loved ones get attacked by a bear or something and you cant do anything about it without a gun other then watch.... THE GOVERNMENT COULD KISS MY ASS!!

  • heres a question for the skinny guy in the video if you need to check and "uphold" the ridiculous rule that my gun needs a padlock on it how will you "check" will you try to come into my house 3 times a year just to be sure? pretty sure thats illegal and a breach of privacy. better have a damn good lawyer cause mine will kick your ass btw i will NEVER padlock my gun because i dont want to frantically search for a key when someone breaks in to rob and murder my family what idiocy

  • Trigger locks don't, and can't, work. It can take upwards of a MINUTE to remove one. What if the robber/rapist is ten seconds from breaking your door down? Irrational indeed.

  • why would the yban the .50 cal?

  • @adamwest456 because they are trying to control citizens by easing into their viewpoints. they use scare tactics and start at banning the extremes (things like the 1986 machine gun ban, AOW's (bans on any other weapons- pen guns and stuff), then work their way down until its too late for us to defend ourselves and arm ourselves for the day that might happen when our government becomes out of hand.

  • @themeleed Look at all the revolts, protests in other countries right now....seriously, Americans might need that "hardware" very soon if you think about it.

  • @RamoneTalarico yeah. In my opinion, the second amendment should be regulated by having background checks to check for felons, terrorists, fugatives... that sort... and disallowing indiviguals and states themselves owning MWD's (which I haven't thought of a way to create a definition for). If we have to resort to, say, nuking D.C., we wouldn't really have to worry about it being legal or not to own a nuke, we would just get one "illegally". It was illegal for colonists to shoot redcoats.

  • @adamwest456 Because it's mythical and scary sounding. Really, that's why. It's like someone else said on here. You start by banning the extreme (.50 cal) then work your ways inward. Soon a .338 will be too big, then a .308, so forth and so on until we have slingshots and .22's

  • We have done this before just not with firearms. Remember Prohibition? All that led to was people going underground to get illegal alcohol. Just because firearms would be illegal doesnt mean that criminals wouldnt have access to them.

  • i like that even dude!

  • No one uses 50 BMG to commit crimes so why ban them?.

  • @hvrtguys Because it is a gateway into moving down the ladder to rounds like the .338 and .308

  • 1 person is a robber whos been shot

  • "More guns anywhere in the district of columbia is going to lead to more crime." The White House Secret Service probably has enough weapons to wage a small war...yet they are used legally for defense...they don't create crime...

  • @RichfromNH Move to Europe or South Africa so you dont have to live in a country with rights to own guns. PLEASE!!!! This is America. The dead people who died to give us this right is only envoyed be EVERY country who lost that right. GO THERE!! and live there.

  • HENTCHMEN?!?!?!?! go fuck yourself Tom

  • there is a comma separating the individual and group gun rights of Americans in the second amendment. Government officials would be smart to pay attention to that comma and recognize it's importance before Jefferson's dream of constant revolutions becomes true.

  • Just recently in my part of the country an off duty detective was attacked and killed by someone who smashed a chunk of concrete over his head. Just wondering, should chunks of concrete be banned?

  • It's not that hot of a topic, for the vast majority of states and cities do not have the anti-gun and anti-freedom dilemmas that a select few on the coasts have. Further, the NRA and other pro-gun groups are simply too powerful to effectively fight, particularly after the "clinton debacle" in the 90's that virutally handed over a good many Democratic seats to Republicans due to Clinton's autocratic gun restrictions.

  • Adrian Fenty is a jackass.

  • ok I have a question? they say GUN violence. but shouldnt it just be violence itself? look the uk got rid of all guns and crime went up 400% but why this scary GUN violence? why not just violence?

  • @annasajerk it "should" be... guns don't kill people... people kill people

  • People actually believe that they're not responsible for themselves. They believe that it's the government's responsibility to house, clothe, feed, provide healthcare, educate, protect and employ them.

During hurricane Katrina, they died by the thousand because they didn't even know how to take care of themselves anymore and they thought they could rely on the government.

If there's ever a national disaster that limits government, like in Katrina, would cause massive depopulation.

  • If those liberal idiots want to take my guns and ammo ther'e gonna have to fight for e'm! A message to all anti-gun liberals: If you want my guns your gonna have to pry e'm from my cold dead hands you SOB's!

  • This anti-gun idiot got his ass kicked.

  • How can someone say that the highly restrictive gun laws work if they have been in effect in NJ since the 1960's and by the anti gun people own admission violent gun crime is out of control in that state. If it was working then shouldn't they have one of the lowest violent crime rates in the nation, since they have some of the most restrictive gun laws in the nation? Someone give me a LOGICAL answer...Please, this question begs for an answer.

  • Tom is a little mommies boy winnie son of a bitch ..

  • Ok, lets say 100% of guns all magically disappears in the world. Criminals are still gona go around killing people with knives. Next thing you know, liberals would be going around for knife control/ban. Then when all knives disappears, its random blunt weapons, then your fists, so they cut your hands off, then it turns out you can still kick a guy to death, so then they cut your legs off, and now every human is completely immobile and unable to commit violent crimes. gg.

  • @pwnagemuffinz

Don't be so sure it will end there. Remember the black knight from the Monty Python's Holy Grail?

  • @pwnagemuffinz : in chicago not only you cant carry guns but knives stun guns pepper spray baton ninja stars !! on and on .........!!

  • @pwnagemuffinz

I love how you say "liberals would", as if every liberal is pro-banning guns (we're not even talking control here, you just go straight to banning) and you have to be a liberal if you disagree with gun-ownership.

I'm a liberal and I support gun-ownership. Because it's a civil liberty, as in "liberalism".

Your bullshit reasoning and fallacious attacks are pathetic.

  • @6:05 onward, the pro-gun guy royally screws up. He answers from an individual rights perspective, which liberal jagoffs like Jardim's followers are too stupid to understand. He fails to mention that the purpose of the gun is to defend oneself against the government. That means .50 cal rifles, .308 "assault rifles", machine guns --everything mentioned in Federalist Paper #46. (Arms equal to whatever the general infantry carries, not necessarily cannons --look it up!)

  • There was no limit on the right to bear arms that was lifted. There was only a limit on the right to keep arms that was lifted. That is all. The guns are still prevented from being effective at its designed purpose. "How to regulate that right" LOL. Humans are so stupid. If it's a right, it cannot be regulated, that would make it a privilege. The ceasefire guy is an abject moron... Read "Unintended Consequences" by John Ross to count the thousands of ways that this guy is wrong.

  • "if indeed it does exist"

If a political group, and both conservatives and liberals both do this, decide that the constitution is inconvenient then they question whether what is stated clearly in it, means what it states clearly.

Bullshit is bullshit done by conservative or liberal alike. James Scott Brady was Reagan's press secretary and a conservative.

Fear knows no political boundary and neither does the willingness to accept personal responsibility for arming and defending oneself.

  • Black president and black mayor want to ban guns

Watch the murder rate skyrocket in urban areas which ban guns

  • criminals, yes mostly black and hispanics are always for more gun control, and so are the rich who live in gated communities and houses, i live in the South, I'm an atheist, and an avid CCW proponent, the means to defend your life are the same as the right to defend your life, take away the means and you have taken away the right.

  • I wish Canada had a constitution with the right to bear arms. :(

  • ROFL at black guy 1:26

  • The government does not have a right to regulate any constitutional right. Regulate free speech? Regulate religion? So why does it get to regulate any other right, such as firearms ownership.

A ban on .50 caliber weapons? Why not a ban on all calibers above .22, like in the UK? It is a slippery slope. Gun owners are angry, the government is trying to take away our rights.

NJ gun laws ensure that only mafias have the guns.

  • fuk cease fire, open fire on the thomas liberal bastard

  • It's not the right to bear arms. It's THE PEOPLE has the right to bears arms. THE PEOPLE are the words that gun-controller want to remove and erase. In the begining of the Constatution are WE, THE PEOPLE. IT"S NOT the individaul. They want of change the meaning that they "the gun-controller" is the people and all others are individaul.

  • 2nd amendment right

    NON negotiable

  • @ onlivegamer

Exactly true. You're not the problem, it's the ones that refuse to understand this.

  • Are they talking about the same book that sanctioned slavery? Reminds me of Muslims talking about minimum age for marriage. Quran says 9 years for girls. "So how should that be interpreted in the 21th century... " LOL

  • like how he calls it a "scheme" when he talks about permits.....its fitting......

  • I will gladly give my guns up when/if the gov't ever comes to take them.I will give them my guns one bullet travelling at 2300 fps at a time.

  • More guns = less crime. Take guns away = crime increases. Criminals do not abide by the law, that's why they are criminals. They will get guns whether it's legal or not. This makes law abiding citizens, who lay down their arms in the interest of not becoming criminals themselves, are helpless for when gun-toting criminals decide to take what the citizens have. The only way to prevent crimes from happening in the first place is to arm the citizens with knowledge, and sometimes, weapons.

  • I like how the crime rate dropped 25% in Washington DC since the gun ban was lifted.

  • Minority gangs ruin it for all

  • it is 100% impossible to take all my guns away because I got them either handed down or at gun shows which means they're un registered which also means the gov. don't know where they are.

  • To all the anti-gun ppl out there,if you wanna take my guns then you personally should pay me a visit and see just how good your plan works lol imma keep my guns and there's not a damn thing the gov. Or you can do bout it but your welcome to try...it is 100% impossible to take all my guns away because

I got them either handed down or at gun shows which means they're un registered which also means the gov. don't know where they are

  • Simple concept

  • Take my gun I take ur life ;)

  • oops my last comment was umm wroung i meant to say. "more guns more crime" utter bullshit. there are more ways to kill some one

there for this is America we as the people have the rites to guns. dont like it GET OUT!

  • Comment removed

  • They are going to need guns to take the guns away, Do the math.

  • For those that appose guns and say if there was less guns and stricter laws on guns and that that would lessen crime you're wrong. If you take a look and do some research you will find out that the majority if not almost all of the guns that were used in crimes and violent acts were illegally purchased firearms. That means unregistered, no serial number, illegal guns. Not guns that have been obtained thru the llegal process.

  • PWNT hard. Stupid anti-gun zealots, they never have any idea what they're talking about.

  • i would totally do that chick.she's got great legs.

  • i dont think our groverment should have any right to change or add anything into any part of the amendments!each time they change something they gain more control and we loose more freedom.dont forget time repeats itself and remember our countrys founding fathers had to deal with a ruler who did not want them tobe free.

  • You know what....people are going to take anything and use it against others. Take away guns and theyll use knives, take away knives and theyll use their hands or their cars or swords for cryin out loud! People killed people in the "pre gun" ages

Thanks God we can still own guns....keeps my family safe in a metropolitan area where break ins DO exist.

  • "onlivegamer" amen i have a 30-06 just as you do and my parents told me the same thing. if anyone wants to come take my gun im gona use it and use it right!
