I enjoyed all the levels you played! There are only 2 other people who have played the game this good.I have only played the arcade version but I loved the game. It was so unique in that you had a device which allowed you to shoot 360 degrees. But honestly it is a lot harder to play 2nd player because his weapon is short range-spread.
It's been awhile since I played this on the XBox collection, but it seems that the programmers optimized it to run on the system, since there wasn't any slowdown, which plagued the arcade version, if I remember correctly.
About the arcade version, I remember one thing...There was an item with a mouth icon which looked like a woman's kiss and it's available to buy at the last shop before final boss battle. That item cost $99,999. However, I don't know why but somehow that item couldn't be found on new version (e.g. this Xbox version)
Ahh yes... rumor has it, if you buy the DRESS (lips icon) for $99,999 ZENNY, then start a new game & replay without dying you will see the shop girl in all of her topless naked goodness at the end sequence.
They removed the icon from some ports and that trick may only work on the original Japanese arcade version, entitled "Lost Worlds". I tried this on the Mega Drive port since they left the icon intact, but even with an emu+save states, I couldn't do it. Maybe someone can confirm this.
seeing as the game is from Capcom Classic Collection 1, the "rotary" control can be either the shoulder buttons/triggers and the right thumbstick is also used as the "shooting direction"
Bios is the final boss in Forgotten Worlds.

Well, the heroes had to be still alive -- Otherwise they couldn't shown up in Namco X Capcom!

This is my 2nd favorite game under Magic sword. Every time I beat this game, it seems like the highest I got is 5 million points. Cool video thanks.

I'm thinking the endgame bonus for leftover Zenny must be much higher in the XBox version than in the arcade.

You died at the final! I remember in the arcade getting to the point that a 1-credit game was too easy so I stopped buying upgrades to my lifeline.
A question though...
How did you achieve such a high school as shown in the middle of the top of the screen? Highest I ever got in the arcade was just over 2,000,000.

Don't know about the arcade version, but I got that highest score on the Xbox version based on
1. didn't die once in the game
2. only spent money on life bar extension, weapon upgrade and one resurrection drink.

did you record this in an arcade

I recorded this gameplay base on Capcom Classic Collection Vol.1, which is available on Xbox or PS2.

I just hate how the weapons sound in these emulated versions. They are way too loud and drown out the awesome music. :(
MAME, Nebula, FBA versions are all better than Capcom's own emulation.
