Its not the EVP you should be worrying about up there. Certain nights you get all kinds of freaky happenings. Banging on the glass, mysterious light orbs, you name it. There was one event which occured up there which has prevented me and my old ghost hunting buddies from going back, but I won't tell what it is we saw or else Il sound like a crazy person.

I was born in Canewdon. It is a strange place and all your ideas are valid. Take it as you see it. Then ask what you see! Something or nothing? Nothing more nothing less! The place has now become just like anywhere else in the south of Essex, but when you tell people over a certain age that you were born there they still ask you the obvious questions! Vague? work it out for yourself!

@GOREGASM250 Not as far as I know, and I grew up in the area so I've visited it many times. If there were any graves of witches there they would most likely be buried in the area of unconsecrated graves on the western area of the churchyard.

I live right by here. Nearby by the crossroad they buried a 'witch' after she was killed by the people - kind of ironic seeing as the proctector of witches is the Goddess Hecate - goddess of crossroads.

I cant stand the costant "i can just feel an energy" from these people, i have the same thing happen when i approach old graves as well, its a sence of aw not paranormal activity. The fact is is that people WANT a ghost to show up if it doesnt they fake it.

i have had a couple of experiences with ghosts, and most of them, not very strangely to me, are my deceased family. Such as my great grandmother, my great great grandmother, my grandmother, and a swiss family that inhabited my house roughly 40 years ago. by sensing them, i can nearly see all of them in detail without using my eyes. the only unfriendly ghost that i think is in my house is an angry fathere who opens and closes the basment door.

I got a question. I live in a house without constant spiritual activity . A few times however I have been attacked by dark shadow apparitions , and once my tv set transmitted what looked like another world.

i still reacon st marys church in mundon near maldon essex,14th century tudor church its very alive up there and freaky , and you can explore there at night the police came when we went up there and there where cool with it. check it out chris esp the twisted trees they use to hang people on them they wer gonna cut them down for the battle of normandy but they couldnt because they are twisted
