all the same it was meant to say that if they were matched in both the same armor given the same conditions to scientifically test them, MC would probably pull out the winner. maybe if they both had no suits, but i dont think Samus's Chozo blood could stand up to MC's augmented body. his bones are practically industructable.
Samus' augmentation functioned in a similar manner to his, minus the horrible operation.
if you've actualy checked into her outside armor ability. she can still jump higher and move faster than the Spartans Clad in they're strength enhancing armor.
as for durability, Samus was 6-8 when she jumped off a cliff. easily high enough to splatter a person, and landed, with grace, so hard she smashed the ground beneath her.
also, Ridley, who has "I rip though ships" strength, smacked Samus across the room while not wearing her suit. though obviously in pain she didn't seem have have any bodily or fatal damage.
well thats a bit unrealistic Samus weighs like 300 lbs, it just gets to a point where it feels like anything in that universe is possible for Samus, Halo doesn't have that luxury, it felt more epic, less than half a billion humans survived after the war. So until we get rid of that Nintendo persona of Samus and put her in a universe where laws of physics can explain the "majority" of how things work, Samus will always win.I'm not saying that Samus can do anything she wants at the same time tho.
well, that's the thing, Nintendo usually discards realism for creativity, hence all the titles they have today.
the more realistic you make a game (to a certain degree) the more restraints are set on you.
about the brining Samus to realism, I'd totally agree. Samus has her advantage because she's from a more creatively active universe. but ask youself this, if you did take her into a more "realistic universe" would it really be ~Samus~ anymore?

Samus is too overpowered. thats y its an unfair contest and shouldn't be given to her. its impossible to compare the two because number one,practically everyone is biased and will defend their fav. regardless of the circumstances and number 2, even if we did even them out, there will still be complaints from either side.
there are reason they've bee compared though, the two game share a a surprising amount of similar elements between them. you could easily in a summarizing sentence describe both games in the same sentence without having a specific reference from either one.

Very good sniper specialist so she wouldn't do a lot of up close combat. And also Kelly-087 was the fastest out of all the spartans, running up to about 28 MPH. Even so, Samus would somewhat be very much faster. I don't get why some people thing Master Chief is a chick..to be honest its kinda stupid cause why would M.C have a voice changer to sound manly and have....
Oh wait, I lied about Kelly. She can run up to 62 KPH (38.502 MPH). Thats pretty fast but Samus would STILL be quite a bit faster. That was one of the errors in this video..This video was pretty good besides the ending and a few mistakes.
Metroid was never a FPS to begin with, and even the Prime series didn't follow the typical controls of a FPS, it just looked like a FPS. That aside, I find it hard to believe that Xbox fans would play nicely with Nintendo fans to have this supposed "love affair" with the 2 icons. Samus was born alone always alone, therefore never needing to "be with someone",so i doubt that she'd have any thing for Mr. Chef,or another chick for that matter. Regardless, the animation was good if not a bit silly.
ya so was samus, when the space pirates killed her parents the chozo took her in as a kid and infused her with there DNA so she could survive on there planet and use her suit. And since she is half chozo and half human she is a super athliet, if you wana put it that way

although I havn't read them, supposidly in the books there's a chance a couple of them are still alive.
Nicole,. the spartan in this video, Isn't even part of the Halo story, just a character made up by Bungie to take part in DOA 4 in place of master chief who couldn't make it due to timeline restraints.
See the whole reason there were only a few of them is because only they survived the surgical procedures that made them powerful, namely increased muscle strength, enhanced reflexes, sense that can allow them to SEE the bullet fly at them..
I only watch this for the Ending scene..MUSICALS FTW!
I am a huge fan of both MC and Samus but even if there was more room Samus would win because she has far more advanced armor and weapons, she was trained to kill hihgly skilled fighters whereas MC was trained to fight armies, and Samus has the potential to oneshot MC. but in the other case, if MC ever got a shot that hit her with a sniper he'd win. so in simpler terms. Samus= overwhelming power MC= sheer skill
if it was an enclosed warzone with plenty of clutter and downed ships, MC would win, because hes frankly a tactical genius. if samus lost sight of MC for a second, he would buy time beyond cover long enough for his shields to recharge. and i thnk the best weapons would be the Spartan Laser + the Battle Rifle.
it depends on the terrain honestly, if its a wide open area ith little cover, then samus would win, because shes more agile and most her weapons shoot in a straight trajectory.

Haloid to begin with isn't cannon (doesn't have to do ANYTHING to do with the current stories)
although I havn't read them, supposidly in the books there's a chance a couple of them are still alive.
Nicole,. the spartan in this video, Isn't even part of the Halo story, just a character made up by Bungie to take part in DOA 4 in place of master chief who couldn't make it due to timeline restraints.

Spartans are also powerful WITHOUT their suits.
See the whole reason there were only a few of them is because only they survived the surgical procedures that made them powerful, namely increased muscle strength, enhanced reflexes, sense that can allow them to SEE the bullet fly at them..
I only watch this for the Ending scene..MUSICALS FTW!

I am a huge fan of both MC and Samus but even if there was more room Samus would win because she has far more advanced armor and weapons, she was trained to kill hihgly skilled fighters whereas MC was trained to fight armies, and Samus has the potential to oneshot MC. but in the other case, if MC ever got a shot that hit her with a sniper he'd win. so in simpler terms. Samus= overwhelming power MC= sheer skill

if it was an enclosed warzone with plenty of clutter and downed ships, MC would win, because hes frankly a tactical genius. if samus lost sight of MC for a second, he would buy time beyond cover long enough for his shields to recharge. and i thnk the best weapons would be the Spartan Laser + the Battle Rifle.

it depends on the terrain honestly, if its a wide open area ith little cover, then samus would win, because shes more agile and most her weapons shoot in a straight trajectory.

1. faster
2. more highly advanced weapons
