I took that test, spirometer last year and I rank 97%. All I had to do was to breath out as much as I could until all air from lung was gone. It was weird because at the end I started to see black as if I were to pass out.

I know I suffer from asthma, in fact I use Symbicort and Albuterol inhaler (It rescued me when out of the blue I just can't breath). One time, I could breath in but not out.
