@crocasaur Not sure why it is being brought up on THIS video, but here is the glitch: When you have to collect all three parts of a certain song from the three dragons, If you complete the Thunder dragon's quest before the other two, it keeps you from ever completing the other two. Solution: do the thunder dragon last.

Skyrim is only unplayably bad on a console. If you get it for the PC (which is was made for, instead of ported to), then it's pretty good. Of course, there's the matter of getting a gaming-quality PC, which not everyone has a practical use for.

Also, it's not THAT hard to activate the game-breaking glitch in SS. I would have came close to doing it myself, because I was so enthusiastic to get the Hylian Shield, but I read about it again and put off the Thunder Dragon until the end as they said.

Unique song for a rather unique character.

Skyward Sword is truly a MASTERPIECE of a game that deserved game of the year way more than Skyrim.

Why? Because not only is this game glitch and crash free, it has one good long linear quest rather than a million slightly okay ones.

This is coming from someone who played Skyrim (including every Elder Scrolls game) before this one.

Sometimes Quality is better than Quantity, I'd rather have just a REALLY good dessert rather than a bag of chips.

This whole game of the year thing is so unfair and just like many other ways we see and compare entertainment, all games are so great that you can't just slap an award for being "teh best game ever!" because too many games are great in their own way.

As you can see by my comment I'm as opinionated as the people that gave the award, which is why NOBODY should be able to officially decide who's art deserves the title of best ever.

@thedragonb0y I sort of agree, however Skyward Sword is not in anyway without glitches, it DOES HAVE a game breaking glitch where you can't progress through the game. I think it has something to do with the "Song of the Hero" Quest, you may need to look it up :/

Skryim, I cast lightning, game crashing. Walk into room, game crashes. Talk to someone, game crashes. This is on the Xbox360 btw. ^^;

I've heard many other people playing Skyrim on the console experience crashes regularly which causes us to restart the system.

Skyward Sword has never even given me so much as one glitch or hiccup, not once.

@riomigz1305 Again, like I said, regardless of glitch or not (having experience with making games, there will ALWAYS be a glitch).

The thing is, how easy and how common this glitch occurs. Skyrim's crashing problem actually happened about a few minutes into the game and a dozen times over (this was on the Xbox360 and many other people have told me about the crashing problem on their console versions)

Art is something that can be infinitely expanded upon, but never has an "end" point.

Since games are basically a form of entertainment, it is regarded as art even though it's built by technical logic.

Skyrim, Zelda, even D&D and Battleship, ALL games are art and thus, only claimed perfect by individuals alone.

A glitch is only bad by it's potency mixed with it's frequent appearance.

In Skyward Sword, it's much hard to find or run into glitches (almost next to impossible).

In Skyrim, I ran into the almost EVERY time I played causing me to have to reload a save or restart the console (unwinnable conditions, crashes, quests not completing, getting stuck, etc).
