  • you're doing too much, presuming you train rugby as well. you only need to do 2 or 3 heavy exercises for lower body, and 2 push, 2 pull for upper body. concentrate on prehab and mobilisation too, especially rotator cuff and necks for tight 5 players.

    strength and power for lower libs = 3-5 reps, 3 sets eg squats, deads and sled pulls,

    hypertrophy with a taste of power (strength-speed-endurane) for upper body = 8-10 reps, 3 sets eg supine rows, i like your swiss ball presses, chins
