Do you recommend this technique for thin (ning) hair, Can the braids be larger, and Is the express hair available in FL? Wow.... Absolutely Beautiful.
Awesome!!! I am so grateful to have found this video. I am in the process of going natural now. It has been about 5 months since my relaxer. Thanks for sharing! : )
amazing video. If someone told me when you braid my hair, leave some out....i would have thought they were crazy. lol. and i love the video, but even MORE, i love how she says...."keep watching" lol. Thanks for the clarity of feathering and tree braiding. Finished Product look beautiful
whne you add the hair after you have begun the cornrow, it isi hard to see how you secure the hair. After you take the strand out, do you wrap the the middle strand? could you explain, thx
@TobioshiMoru As your braiding the hair your taking pieces out. The cornrow acts as a branch and the hair being pulled out are like the limbs of the tree. I hope this helps.
Thanks for sharing this, the difficult bit for me was being able to keep the hair( i've taken out ) away as i weave along, whats your best advise on this pls
Thank you so much for sharing! I never knew what tree braiding was until recently and you have explained it so well! I never knew so many styles and methods of braiding existed. so much to learn!!
I am going to stop watching these videos. I am soo freaking amazed. I really want to do my hair now. I always wondered how that was done and you make it look soo easy.
I really like your video, your very proffessional and to the point. The tree braid style that you did came out beautiful. I live in CT and it's very hard trying to keep up with the styles when salons have no idea what you are talking about. I finally found someone in New Haven CT so now I know how tree braides are suppose to look. Thank You.
thank you so much you really did ur thing I never heard of ne thing like this until sum one called wanting there hair dun like this I said no didnt knw how to do it but I will look it up and I twll you u really showed me how and I appreciate it u do good work just to get sum more info what do ur prices run for like tree braids and all ur other braids if you dnt mind me asking just tryin toget my shop up and runnin....... but great great great videou taught me alot
africans do the best hair braiding&weave. i'm nigerian&everytime i go to nigeria i'll get my hair done. when i come back all of my friends (of different races) compliment me saying its something that is perfectly done. ive gotten my hair done by a black lady but i only liked the hair until i had to take it down. she put my hair in knots&it was really hard to take down. it was as if she was concentrating more on the style than the easiness of taking it down. i never had that problem with africans
I have not done my own tree braid hair before so I will not be able to advise. I guess it will hurt your hands a lot keeping it raised for a long time. cheers
Thanks for your lovely comments. We cover pricing in our training. Micro braids and tree braid plaits cost relatively the same but tree braid weave cost less as it takes less time.In this video we used 2 and a half packs of kanekalon that is about 82" long. We cut the hair into 5 and treat the tips to look natural as in one of our videos.
I would love to discuss pricing with you if you email me directly as prices vary depending on experience, location and your service.
I love your video, I have been wanting to see exactly how to end the tree braids and you have finally shown me how!! Thank you so much. Question if the client has very long like shoulder length hair do you still end it the same?
Thanks for your comments. We will not end it the same way. When you finish the Tree braid weave, you end it with a Tree braid plaits especially for long natural hair. cheers
i love this style and its hard fa me to get ppl to do mi hair so im tryin to learn on my own..do u have a site for learning to pick up hair as u braid?
Thanks for your comments. You apply a moisturiser to the hair depending on the extensions you use. If wavy, please do not apply any moisturiser. It is not advisable to use large cornrows as they tend to show the scalp. It is one of the most popular hairstyles at the moment.
I really loved this detailed video on tree braiding. Why don't you pull hair from both sides instead of one? I'm just curious. How long does it take? And what kind of hair do you use for tree braids if you want curly hair but not too silky looking? Is it possible to this on your own hair or is it much more difficult? I do know how to braid my own hair and I'm interested in this type of braid.
Thanks for your wonderful comments. If you pull from both sides you will fill the hair too much and it will be too heavy for the client. Always start by giving your client a consultation to confirm what she wants. It takes about 4 hours to create this style - including cutting and styling. Try wavy human hair which is not silky or synthethic - Freetress, Batik, Aftress etc. I guess if you can do cornrows on your own hair then be brave and try this out.
