  • @TobioshiMoru As your braiding the hair your taking pieces out. The cornrow acts as a branch and the hair being pulled out are like the limbs of the tree. I hope this helps.

  • I really like your video, your very proffessional and to the point. The tree braid style that you did came out beautiful. I live in CT and it's very hard trying to keep up with the styles when salons have no idea what you are talking about. I finally found someone in New Haven CT so now I know how tree braides are suppose to look. Thank You.

  • cute

  • Whats the name of hair that u use in this video?

  • @BIllIee15

    Xpressions hair.

  • Can you curl and flat iron this particular hair?

  • @intelligentblue2004

We can blow dry it but not flat iron as it is still synthetic hair.

  • did you do a single row of braids from thr from the front to back and how many packs of hair did you use?

  • @telsjb9820

yes. Rows are done from front to back. We used about 2 packs of hair.

  • Thank you for your videos..

  • @jaminziggy1

    Thank you for watching.

  • Hi you said you treat the hair what do you mean by that. Thanks

  • @AppletopBaby

We treat the hair by reducing the bulk and giving it a natural tip - just like human hair.

  • What about the middle section of the head? do you still leave out hair only on one side or both sides?

  • @SweetyPie916

I leave hair on both sides. But remember to keep your cornrows firm.

cheers and thank you for your questions.

  • Great video

  • @Lbrooks071

  • @nyara21forever

    Thank you for watching.

  • africans do the best hair braiding&weave. i'm nigerian&everytime i go to nigeria i'll get my hair done. when i come back all of my friends (of different races) compliment me saying its something that is perfectly done. ive gotten my hair done by a black lady but i only liked the hair until i had to take it down. she put my hair in knots&it was really hard to take down. it was as if she was concentrating more on the style than the easiness of taking it down. i never had that problem with africans

  • @missydynasty

Thank you for your comments. cheers

  • i love this video i now know excactly how to do tree braiding. thank u thank u.

  • @lashontae03

I am glad I could help. Keep it up and you will be an expert soon. cheers

  • is it different or more difficult if you do your own tree braids?

  • @amandafaith1991

I have not done my own tree braid hair before so I will not be able to advise. I guess it will hurt your hands a lot keeping it raised for a long time. cheers

  • Beautiful!!!! :)

  • @Qu33nL33

    Thanks and please keep watching.

  • @sunshine1buttercup1

Thanks for your lovely comments. We cover pricing in our training. Micro braids and tree braid plaits cost relatively the same but tree braid weave cost less as it takes less time.In this video we used 2 and a half packs of kanekalon that is about 82" long. We cut the hair into 5 and treat the tips to look natural as in one of our videos.

I would love to discuss pricing with you if you email me directly as prices vary depending on experience, location and your service.

  • Beautiful, like always. DId you flat iron the hair?

  • @naturelle15

I actually did a blow dry after braiding. cheers for your comments.

  • I love your video, I have been wanting to see exactly how to end the tree braids and you have finally shown me how!! Thank you so much. Question if the client has very long like shoulder length hair do you still end it the same?

  • @jaminziggy1

Thanks for your comments. We will not end it the same way. When you finish the Tree braid weave, you end it with a Tree braid plaits especially for long natural hair. cheers

  • i love this style and its hard fa me to get ppl to do mi hair so im tryin to learn on my own..do u have a site for learning to pick up hair as u braid?

  • @sunshine1buttercup1 yes, I was wondering the same thing, about the amount of hair used

  • I just love this!! I am in US and I've never seen this style before. Great tutorial!!

  • @gottaluvnene

Thanks for your comments. Stay tuned.

  • @gottaluvnene well then you never saw a black person before ethier

  • Great Video. How long does this last. ? How do you keep your hair moist and healthy? This is much better than the sew in. Love it.

I am going to the Islands in June and this style may work. Would it look good with larger corn braids?

  • @leglo1584

Thanks for your comments. You apply a moisturiser to the hair depending on the extensions you use. If wavy, please do not apply any moisturiser. It is not advisable to use large cornrows as they tend to show the scalp. It is one of the most popular hairstyles at the moment.

  • How much does that style cost?

  • @TheSoldiergirl14

Contact us and we can do a detailed consultation to give you a price.

  • I love the style and the details on how to do it. Thanks

  • @MrzKKreations

    Thanks for watching.

  • I really loved this detailed video on tree braiding. Why don't you pull hair from both sides instead of one? I'm just curious. How long does it take? And what kind of hair do you use for tree braids if you want curly hair but not too silky looking? Is it possible to this on your own hair or is it much more difficult? I do know how to braid my own hair and I'm interested in this type of braid.

  • @uhuhforreal

Thanks for your wonderful comments. If you pull from both sides you will fill the hair too much and it will be too heavy for the client. Always start by giving your client a consultation to confirm what she wants. It takes about 4 hours to create this style - including cutting and styling. Try wavy human hair which is not silky or synthethic - Freetress, Batik, Aftress etc. I guess if you can do cornrows on your own hair then be brave and try this out.
