I mean a brain fart, a total disgrace finishing with a clove hitch and also your clove hitch at the anchor point is insecure, I mean really !........... I hope you are never called upon in a safe rigging application over the head of Halle Berry or Jessica Alba or Swartzenegger. They are only a few names of the Holly woods stars I have Rigged above.

You need to humble yourself and learn about safe rigging when it comes to knots. I have it on my channel.

Wouldn't an in-line eight work much better than a figure eight on a bite? It puts far less unnecessary tension on the rope.

or, instead of tying this overly-complicated knot, you could just tie a taught line hitch at one end and a clove hitch or two-half-hitches at the other end. All three of these knots are taught to every Boy Scout. Sheesh

For quick tie and release check out "hitchcraft" videos. With one had you can readjust and there is no need for knots or to thread the line through loops which is harder the longer the line is.

that's not a truckers hitch, a true hitch relies on a jambing action and as soon as the tension is off, the whole hitch just falls apart.

By using this technique - after you finish, you end up with a knot in the rope you cannot get out. There are better techniques available.
