May be i`m amateur, but why was this call so weird for Durrr, it was a good call, there was a big possibility of pocket jacks, queens, or even Ace.. he was just sorry he didnt take that pot :)

@ensayofr very true! weird actually, i know i wrote that but this is one of those hands i really can't work out an opinion on. ultimately, i figure he can't possibly raise, but because it's a relatively small bet and he's against dwan, he can't possibly fold. however, i do disagree with dwan saying "i'd value bet a 9 a lot"; i personally believe value betting a 9X of spades on the river would be a very ambitious play against a player of elky's standard. but yea, gotta hesitate for a sec :)

bah, I totally understand the way Elky hesitated; Durr could have had a pair of Js or Qs and be doubting about an A slow played. "I would have called it faster" sounds like a wanker sentence to me

@jouravleff , lmao! No idea why Elky stalled 2bh! Very clear call for Elky. Durrrr 3bet from the straddle preflop. On the river Elky is getting close to 4 to 1 on a call so only needs to be correct 20% of the time for the call to be positive EV.
