He's the hero the world needed yet the hero that will never be thanked for what he did and he knew that would happen. Sometimes, a few may die, whether they need to or not, in plans on a scale like this... That's what made Code Geass such a sad show as well, the deaths of so many close ones.

@Darkipod95 Suzaku's purpose in the story was supposed to be the opposite of Lelouch. He was the other way to obtain peace without the needless killing. He had to join Lelouch in the end though because even he saw the only way to peace was to stain your hands. Would be a very interesting show though if someone managed to do what they did without violence though.

@Darkipod95 Susaku's way is cowardly and naive. You see after the first arc, the only peace Susaku brought was to the dominion, he brought hell to the japanese people. What kind of peace is that? Suzaku gave the world to the selfish dominion, which was only intending to oprimate and get everything from the world trough force and racism. The dominion whould never had surrendered with that kind of attitude, some people can't change. The only other way was teeth for teeth, Lelouch's way.
