They're a good compliment to these videos and Rinpoche is updating them fast, regularly and prolifically. Get fast, spontaneous and personal insights at blog (dot ) tsemtulku (dot )com

  • I got the english version of the comic book. It's so beautifully done.

  • Rejoice, I heard that Lama Tsongkhapa's biography in comic form is coming out by KMP this weekend. I can't wait to get a copy from Kechara Paradise outlet. I heard there is a great promo of buying one book and getting another book free along with a free DVD as well.

  • I heard that it takes a lot of merits to hear, see and comprehend the blessings of Lama Tsongkhapa. Hence, to have his image and make offerings is an especially fortunate thing. Therefore, we should invite him back feeling as such - fortunate so that we open our minds and create the cause for all the blessings and good things that he will usher into our minds and lives.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa was just an ordinary monk who became the most famous of his time due to his immense perseverance in studying and practicing the Dharma. Hence he became the Buddha's who's legacy extend to this day.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa's blessing is excellent because his form contains the essence of the entire path as illustrated within the Lamrim or Graduated Stages to Enlightenment. Therefore, whatever practice we do towards him will create the cause for us to realize and actualize the Lamrim.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa is wisdom incarnate and so he will bless us with memory, critical insight and a powerfully quick and decisive wisdom to discern right from wrong. Hence Lama Tsongkhapa is excellent for kids.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa statues is particularly blessed because along with Tara his statue is particularly well known to manifest miracles and speak in Tibet.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa had many great students including H H the first Dalai Lama Gendun Drub. His current incarnation is leading Tibet, one of the last repositories of Buddhist teachings and also lending a face of Buddhists the world over.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa's wrote Lamrim Chenmo that became the textbook for Buddha's teachings. He also stressed a lot on Tantra by writing more on it so his students follow suit after a firm foundation in Sutra.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa, Atisha, Guru Rinpoche, Nagarjuna and Manjusrhi are all one single mind-stream. Second conqueror after Lord Buddha

  • Lama Tsongkhapa is always called Jamgon Je Tsogkhapa. Jamgon meant one with Manjushri. Although he had visions and receives teachings from Manjushri but he himself is an emanation of Manjushri. Neat.

  • I love this teaching. Thank you very much. A small request, can upload another clearer version of this video? thank you.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa is a very good practise for young people nowadays, as is simple and easy, plus Lama Tsongkhapa embodied Wisdom, Compassion and Protection, is 3-in-1 practices...... really beneficial for those to engage in Lama Tsongkhapa practise, as its calm down your mind and makes you think clearly.....

  • "Lama" means "One without fault, without negativity, without evil..." now i know the real meaning of this title or label we use to refer to our spiritual guide... wow... even higher recognition than the usual title "Guru" which means "A collection of good qualities". The term "Guru" is a combination of two Sanskrit words "Guna" for "Good Qualities" and "Ruchi" for "A Collection". I learn it from this book by Tsem Rinpoche "Gurus For Hire, Enlightenment For Sale".

  • Tsem Tulku Rinpoche gave the Tsongkapa teaching let's me feel like Tsongkapa as you and me, we all live togather from long time ago.........

  • The site vajrasecrets(dot)com has many beautiful statues of the Buddha . I was looking for Lama Tsongkhapa statue when I stumbled upon this site.

  • I feel tremendous devotion and gratitude to Lama Tsongkhapa for making the Lam Rim accessible to modern people with little merit like myself. May the brightness of the teachings of Lama Tsongkhapa continuously dissipate the veil of darkness covering the beings of the three realms. And to Rinpoche who brings the dharma to life in this video.

  • This is one of the best teachings on Lama Tsongkhapa's iconography that I have found on the net. And Rinpoche presents in a way that is easy to understand for the lay student. In fact, Rinpoche's other videos on youtube are excellent too. You should check them out!

  • Lama Tsongkhapa is a very good practise to everyone, as you gain wisdom, compassion and protection. Rinpoche using his skillful ways to teach us here, yet easy to understand and easy to practise....Thanks you Rinpoche

  • Rinpoche explained clearly in this video about prostration and very detailed. Rinpoche also some common mistakes done by practitioners.

  • I have benefited a lot from this teaching when I have just joined Kechara Houses activities. It helped me to understand more and I have always found Tsem Tulku Rinpoches teachings to be very informative.

  • its great to have a teacher who explains to His students clearly and detailed. How fortunate the students of Kechara House to have a resident Lama of Tsem Tulku Rinpoche who have worked so hard for Dharma to flourish in the land of Malaysia.

  • hey, Lam Rim books I have read that book before I think I will to join Kechara House since they have classes conducted by Rinpoches senior student on LamRim to understand more about it. Hopefully I will be benefited from it.

  • Hi,

a wonderful brief representation of one of tibets most profound dharma reformers.

(He was also a composer of the treatise LAMRIM _ The explanation of the Stages to enlightenment)

  • Wow! Rinpoche is fantastic! There's so much to learn from looking at a statue.

  • This is definately a video that all Gelupas must watch!

I know that teaching mudra that Lama Tsongkhapa means he is the one who teach, I am really amaized on every single mudras, even the legs or the hat have so many meanings.

    this is cool!

  • Rinpoche brings the dharma alive with this exposition of the Lama Tsongkhapa's qualities and iconography . I enjoyed this very much .

  • Well..."We must"... Dear Rinpoche, I must but I can't meditate. Very helpfull talk for everybody else. People must appreciate the chance they have and to practice.

  • Blessthechild68, you should get the book by Kechara, " Faces of Enlightenment" you will definately enjoy the book very much since you like Buddha Iconography.

In the book they gather all "popular" Buddha with explanation of their iconography with mantra.

Lama Tsongkhapa is one of the Buddha in that Book. Go get one copy. You can get it from kecharaDOTcom or you can get it from Borders in Singapore.

  • Thank You So Much for the clear explanation of Lama Tsongkhapa iconography. I learned a lot. It is not just a normal Buddha image but a lot more.

How Lama Tsongkhapa sit, the hand mudra...WOW.

Seldom heard about people explained the iconography of Buddhas. It is vey interesting.

Lama Tsongkhpa truly a Dharma scholar. How nice i have the chance to know more about Him. :)

  • Lama Tsongkhapa is a very good practise and beneficial, as it comprise of Manjushri (Wisdom), Cherenzig (Compassion) & Vajrapani (Protection). How wonderful we can gain Wisdom to understand dharma and practise it, have Compassion to every beings and take off their pains and suffering, as well as Protection against any evil spirits and obstacles.......Highly Recomended for everyone......tsemtulku(dot)com

  • This is an excellent introduction for beginners. Rinpoche explains the iconography of Lama Tsongkhapa in incredible detail.

AND.... The Dalai Lama, Panchen Lama & Tsem Rinpoche's previous incarnation were all DIRECT DISCIPLES of Lama Tsongkhapa. WOW!!

  • I love this teaching on Lama Tsongkhapa's iconography. So clear and brilliant.

  • Lama Tsongkhapa's statue isnt that easy to get in malaysia but there are 4 places to get them: kecharaparadise(dot)com. If you prefer to shop online, you can also get them at kechara(dot)com

  • 深入浅出的讲解 ~ 棒 !!!

  • more people should learn more about Lama Tsongkhapa. I see a lot of material about Milarepa, Padmasambava and so forth, but not a lot about Tsongkhapa. This video is just so excellent!!

  • thank u

  • Rinpoche, from book or website, we only know Lama Tsong Khapa has Four great deeds. I didn't know Tsong Khapa has completed 12 great deeds as mentioned in your video teaaching. Can you, Please share to us more on this. Thank you.

  • Crystal clear explanation of Lama Tsongkhapa iconography

  • An excellent and useful teaching. The explanation for the thanka and mudra of Lama Tsongkapa, expands on the teachings that I received at the dharma centre close to where I live.

  • I feel that a lot more people should learn more about Je Rinpoche and talk about his achievements of uniting all the 4 traditions of his time together: Nyigma, Kagyu, Sakya and Kadam and produced so many high and eminient masters. Sadly, Gelug needs help these days.
