@xXDexereXx Hey, you are welcome to give us a list of the websites you have made. I admire you for your web creation skills. For me, it was a big challenge to learn how to help small businesses, but thank goodness, I've learned to create value for my clients.
@Adamlostinspace Thanks Adam. I also get 3 acres of grass cut for free due to building a website. Website creation and seo is great for bartering. Bartering rocks!
A kid like me who's moving out soon, living on his own and doesn't suck with computer programming and designs, I could really use a pizza or two every month for free. I'll give this a go!
Heres a better way to get free pizza: Wait for the store to close, then go back to the dumpster. You will either find boxes of pizza or garbage bags full of nothing but slices. Dig in!
lol I just find it funny that you get free stuff for a simple and real easy template site and your getting these services its kool I might try this in my area lol better site tho but still man nice :)
Wow, I love your videos. They inspire me! I'm a wedding and portrait photographer that is getting married soon but can't afford a wedding. It got me thinking about asking to trade services. Say.. I trade a top photography package of mine for them to use as a contest or giveaway.. for some sort of service or rental. Thanks for these! I just subscribed. =)
Local offline advertising is often overlooked as a great form of effective promotion for any business. I've used this method with great results many times over the years. If you're looking for a free way to advertise your business to 10,000 people locally, this might be just what you're lookng for.
I also love the fact that every time I've used this method I've made sevral hundred in a few days PLUS got my own ad(s) out to 10,000 local people for FREE!
haha Glen you are the man! But its Canadian Bacon! Not Canadian Ham man! LOL xD. And you didnt have to rub in your looooong drive way, and your spaaacious habitat :P lol jk. Keep up the good work, gonna visit there site and tell them that you made a guy from Kansas look over there site :). And that the website is absolutely phenomenal. Keep it up man cant wait to see more vids! Thanks for being so personable BTW
Just built a site for a locally owned health club for money and limited membership.. however, pizza is more fun.. i hate working out! - wonder if the local mexican joint will do it. ;) - thanks for the inspirational video!
Hey Greg. For this website, I used the free Yahoo Sitebuilder. The downside is the hosting costs $13 a month, but they have video tutorials showing how. It's super easy.
I just asked them if they had a website and they said, "not now." I built them this website and said take a look. They didn't sound too excited, but a week later, they called up and said, "Dude, you did great, we need to pay you."
I suggested that they just give me a couple of pizzas every month to run their website instead.
I just had my brother and newphew here and it was so cool to go by there and pick up our free pizza. Then, they went on to tell them that Glen is always welcome there.
I made the website for them for free. They didn't look at it for a month or more because they didn't have a computer. Eventually, they saw the site and offered me money to keep the site up to date. I suggested 2 free pizzas a month. They gladly agreed.
I did a little extra SEO to get them to the top of the Spartanburg Pizza searches.
The thing is these businesses need your services, so no need to be shy.
Tip: I built the site for free for them first, but then they saw the results and offered to pay me, I suggested the exchange for pizzas since I was a regular customer.
the pizza looks good!but the salad looks bad!dude are u a coouch potato?that didnt seem healthy when u said ur going home to eat pizza and watch tv lol
I know, I'm still working on a way to scam a free pizza. Doing it legit takes the fun away.
Actually, I was hanging out with the owners and they told me the website was working so well that they are cancelling their $450 a month Yellow Pages ad.
Yes, I agree with you. Using this technique is a great way to ease your way into a job or your own business. A lot of people own a business, but have no idea or time to promote it online.
Business owners also think it's too expensive to hire a webmaster so if you approach them with a trade/barter, or a reasonable fee, many will jump on the opportunity.
Oops, I misread your response the first time. Yes, the skills you are learning will open up many opportunities to help businesses and they will pay you nicely.
By the way, I've been wanting to learn Dreamweaver for the longest time. I own it, but it intimidates me...one day!
Hey i was going to messege you soon about this video.
I've learned a lot of dreamweaver. but i still dont know how to put the web page on the world wide web. however; i know that you have to pay for a webhost. Do you know any free ones? i'm practicing on making a web page for my fathers gardening business.

I used a free program to build the site with. It's called Yahoo Sitebuilder. If Yahoo hosts your website, then the program is free to use.
Yes, it's an HTML website, but Sitebuilder is WYSIWYG.
