  • 2:06 This fight reminds me of the fight with the first boss in Streets of Rage 2

  • Did they released this and SFIII: 2nd Impact on Dreamcast? I only got Third Strike.

  • @DBZfanboy25 yeah they did, find it on amazon.

  • I love this game I have it on my Dreamcast and emulated on my PC. I wish they had it on the PS3 so I can play it on my big screen. "Down for the count" Sweet Dudley's in SSF4.

  • @calamaty me too or ill just buy the street fighter collection for the ps2 and play just 3rd strike on the ps3

  • if i wuz dudley i wudda jus cross countered u all day with u playin like that but good walkthrough anyway

  • what is this on Super Easy? lol

  • Playing as one of the Shotoscrubs usually amounts to that, yes.

  • 1:53 !!! whooo!!

  • In my opinion I think this street fighter was the best.

It had the best audio by far.

    The best stages.

The game lacked the tru balance of third strike.

But the Shin Shoryu ken by ryu in the best thus far.

All the different variations of the super sucked compared to this 3 hit version wich gives you and orgasm everytime you see it.

It would be nice if they could release a SFIII which combines the best from all 3 games.

but you can play each one

  • although this one had missed chars like guile etc. from the prev sfs.

  • they later put guile back in with tha char REMY in third strike check it out!!!

and Blanka in tha char Mokoto

  • blanka and makoto have *nothing* in common

  • the way they fight is similar. The blanka roll is just as quick as her dashing punch.

run a poll they are similar in move set

  • the common theme between in the ability to close the gap.

  • ? it had remy who was a gule CLONE?!?

  • this looks so basic now .......... crazy

  • necro is kind a fusion between punk, dhalsim, opera and blanka, dudley is more a balrog gay or something, anyway this game is awesome but 3rd strike rules!

  • you nedd to work on your combos

  • I know, I'll post a new version of this.

  • @ReneO93gaming can you tell me where to find the ISO of this game for PS2?

  • it Was supposed 2 B on The original Playstation W"T"F Sony

  • It would have sucked as much as the "Vs. Capcom" series ports.

  • WHOO IF I WAS CARTOON ID HIT DAT 1:55

  • That was a shot with that fireball at 3:09.

  • I miss the Alpha series. SF3 is just weird. The bosses are just wrong. Running around in there Banana Hammocks.

  • You don't know anything about fighting games. Street Fighter 3 third Strike is the best in the whole game series. The gameplay is beautiful man.

  • I've played every Street Fighter Ever made, Usa, Japanese, Knock off, you name it. Don't get me wrong. Street Fighter 3 is awesome. It just I think they were trying too hard on the Characters. I wish they would bring back the Alpha series back. At least put it in the XLA.

  • LOL

  • I don't know why they took Ryu's two hit dragon punch off him in third strike!

  • It made him a little over-powered I think..

  • ryu was way overpowered in this game. I love it

  • They gave it back to him in Super street figher 4 since it leads up to 3

  • imo Street fighter ALPHA 3 is the best in the series

  • Don't be fucking stupid. The amount of flaws in that game is incredible, even more than Street fighter 2!

  • What flaws?

  • Being stupid=/=Having an opinion

I clearly said imo which means "in my opinion" SF3 Third Strike was amazing but again in my opinion SFA3 was the better game. It did more far more for the series than SF3 and the Alpha series introduced us to some incredible characters, even Dan is popular and he sucks, while characters like Gill and Hugo are easily forgotten, like someone else said they tried too hard to make them cool. So please tell me what flaws are in SFA3 that are not in SF3.

  • And don't disrespect SF2. Without that game the fighting genre wouldn't be half as good as it was now. SF2 is an important piece of history to gaming in general. You clearly don't know anything about fighting games if you'll deny this.

  • Street Fighter (1987) is even more important, though quietly distant. Without the first there would be no II.

  • The juggling system is terrible. Characters like Guy, Ken and Akuma are dominating. Supers go through baic moves, they can't be stopped like in Streef fighter 3. The cammand input don't even work properly with several characters. Buffering is dodgy. A lot of Alpha 3's gameplay is scratchy at best.

  • Ah, the classic battle of fighting games fans debating on the moral aspects of Street Fighter. You can find me playing Last Blade 2, a game worth getting worked up over.

  • For the 3 tournament Street Fighter games Super Turbo, Alpha 3 and Third Strike I'd say Alpha 3 is the most fun and the best. Not too fast and not too slow as well.

  • Wrong.

  • Nobody forgets about HUGO he rocks!!

  • what do you use to record this cuzz i want to record stuff too but i dont have a microphone yet but i heard theres a recirder that you can still record videos using programs form the computer like u used the cps3 emulator please tell me ow you did it please.

  • In this, I used a microphone, but now I use fraps (most people buy that shit, but I downloaded it for free).

  • how did you do that cuzz i got the trial version and its hella gay

  • How good is the music on Dudley's stage, beautiful. 2:09 to 3:09.

  • a 1:56 elena looked like she was in a sex position to get fucked by ryu teehee

  • lol...all shiny and everything too

  • The problem with parrying is that it's unnecessary. There's already a feature to discourage turtling: throwing. Parrying just lets you get out of a disadvantageous position (which your opponent might have worked a lot to put you into) with one single, correct guess. That single correct guess can lead to a massive amount of damage.

There's also no risk to actually parrying, and ways to cover its execution and make it even deadlier. It's a broken system and I'm glad it's not around for SF4.

  • lol you just sucked at it I bet...I felt the same way at first but not anymore

  • they removed the parring system in SF4 to make it more commercially successful becoz kids and newbz cant play SF3 they'll get pawnd... but they can spam and stuff in this new SF4 and not worry about getting parried and owned.. plus do u really like those characters? guile turteling and charging his only 2 moves? blanka's stupid electric and charging attacks? honda? m.bison? these characters would be totally useless if parrying was there

  • Google the following: "Viscant Parrying Counter Post" and enjoy. Viscant already went through all the trouble of explaining why parrying makes games bad.

You already said it yourself: it makes certain characters totally useless. What the hell is the point of that? Fighting games have a large amount of character archetypes. Just because you happen to think some of them are stupid doesn't actually make them stupid. Learn to actually play a 2D fighter before you talk.

  • "Learn to actually play a 2D fighter before you talk." wtf is that supposed 2 mean? i've played 2D fighting games all my life or to be more accurate, ever since i was five... i've tried all of them. and i think SF3 is the best.. if u can't take someone else's opinion dont give yours

  • I doubt you've tried -all- of them. And even if you had, if you honestly think that SF3 is anywhere in the same league as much better games (CvS2, SSF2T) then there's really nothing much else to tell you except "you're wrong."

They didn't remove the parrying system from SF4 to make it more commercially successful, they removed it because it's idiotic. The fact that your "best" parrying argument comes down to how it makes "stupid characters" pointless shows your lack of understanding.

  • lol at 1:56 ...

  • lol doesn't it look perverted?! Ryu's standing behind Elena with a grin on his face like hes about to give her his sheng long :p

  • I LOLed.

  • Don't forget about NOT making Ryu the main character.

  • Given that Alex is my favourite SF3 character, I have to disagree :P

On the topic of SF2 mainstays though, who decided to put Remy in instead of Guile? Guile's probably the most iconic SF2 character outside Ryu and Ken.

  • Chun Li?

  • Blech to Chun-Li. Blech I say!

  • I thought that was a dumb idea as well but they were trying to make something fresh I guess.

  • Alex is the main character for all of SF3.

  • I actually think 3rd Strike is a cool game still, music and all, though I do wonder what the other two were like.

  • Same thing, but with less characters? LAWL

  • I didn't know that Ryu's dragon punch was 2 hit in NG, that is weird.
