There are a lot of new changes for the facelifted 997. The front bumper is redesigned with a lattice-like treatment similar to the Cayman. The front lip will be larer too. The rearlights are redesigned with LED treatments and the shape is slightly feminine. The headlamp uses two lenses similar to that of the Carrera GT. Chances are the M96 engine will finally be ditched and all Carreras will carry the 3.8 M97 powerplant instead, which pretty much eliminates the S lineup.
