To be "complete," it needs to follow one aspect of shooting games. The maps in Modern Warfare were generally small, allowing for a "close up" type of shooting game.

To have vehicles in the game, they should make a majority of the maps larger. This will make Modern Warfare 2 lean towards the Battefield style (large maps, many vehicles, etc), while maintaining many of the unique CoD features and feel.

That was something i hoped from CoD WaW; large battle grounds, trenches, open fields, etc.

Now, if they did make the maps much larger, it would lose that "run in there and shoot the shit out of them feel," which in my opinion, was a key element in the game.

Of course, they could just throw in vehicles on a few maps, but Modern Warfare was about "going all the way" with in-your-face, first person action. To only have vehicles on a few maps would mean the game wouldn't be "complete."

I'm sure it won't be "future warfare" because they already had 2 shit attempts at that with Advanced Warfighter. I hope it does not feature vehicles, because:

Modern Warfare had the "run in there and shoot the shit out of them feel." It also featured small and small/medium maps, which wouldn't be able to support vehicles.

If they did happen to throw in vehicles, it would ruin in game, UNLESS they made the maps much bigger, like the Socom games which had vehicles.
