  • Wow, did i just fastforward to see the girl only? ;>

  • nice little pistol. 10 shots to the body as fast as you can pull the trigger will do some nice damage, especialy when the bullets start bounceing around inside the body or head. Been a lot of ppl killed with a 22 cal., and a lot of ppl maimed with them, or just made brain dead from a round scrambling in the skull. Love 22's, they do good enough damage to kill or let you get away or disable ur opponet so you can deliver the coup de grace.

  • for 50 bucks more you can get a cheap caltek .45 -.- its a OPS but its bigger.

  • they guy in the orange shit needs a hair cut...

  • WTF? 150$ my paintball gun is more expensive..... this world has definately gone down the shitter if real guns cost less than paintball guns

  • @ninjacheese303 Are you twelve? Apples and oranges kid.

  • @MAStandridge what the hell does my age have to do with anything?

  • @ninjacheese303 It just shows why you don't understand the price discrepancy between a firearm and a paintball gun.

  • @MAStandridge im saying a firearm meant to kill should not be cheaper than a paintball gun meant for a sport

  • i thought jahova's witness was against firearms...

  • Nice lttle gun, but I feel the only thing it's really good for is target shooting, and plinking...

  • I just got one of these a few weeks ago. It was the one that came in the hard case with the extra magazine, magwell lock, and a three and five inch barrel. Using the short barrel that day, I shot a very tight group at fifteen yards. It was just as accurate as my Taurus 9mm, and I'm sure it would have been even more accurate with the 5 inch barrel. I'll be using this as my main carry on warm days, and as a backup when I wear a jacket.

  • After the Phoenix self-destructed like that, I bought a Beretta 21a which was too finicky about the consistency of each round, let alone brands. Spent as much time removing stuck cases from the breech as I did shooting it, so I put it away and bought a Ruger MkII.

Ah, Phoenix has/had a Lifetime Warranty, but I never used it. Didn't see the point with that short life span. Like I said, hopefully they revised the construction and they last longer now. They're fun as for as long as they last.

  • I bought one of these NIB in the "Range Kit" which means it came with the short and long barrels, extended and flush mag, etc. Keep it well lubed and maybe it will withstand high-volumes of use during practice/plinking. They're basically zinc/aluminum alloy, like a Hot Wheel with steel inserts on the operating surfaces. Well, sorta'. They put the steel inserts along the frame rails but not on the uppers. With a lot of shooting, they gall up bad and mine seized up. It was terminal....

  • MY SHOES COST MORE DEN UR GUN HEHEHEHEHE

  • a friend told me once / he carried a 22/ "I wont stop you with the first one but I will hit you with all of them"

  • Reading the upper comments. The guy says Jew/Haggling the price down....

Just a word of advice. DO NOT EVER say something like this at a show or any place you are buying weapons at. Good chance you will get the bullet not the gun *wink wink*.

    People get touchy. Peace.

  • Sweet looks nice

  • I bought mine used at a gun shop for $50 10 years ago. Its been a great gun. I got the long barrel for it and the finger ext. On the new mag. Put a rubber grip for a Kel Tec P-11 on it. So I carry that or my Kel tec. I feel just as safe with either. But I'm way more accurate with the 22.

  • Worst gun porn ever.

  • women should have their hair tied back when shooting, very unsafe!!

  • LMFAOOOO look at this guy wearing earmuffs and a short sleeve shirt. Catch a cold lately rofl

  • @Z32Pimpin

Earmuffs? Its for HEARING PROTECTION...not to keep your ears warm, do you know nothing?

  • nice firearm . cant beat that.

  • witch model is that gun?

  • @survivalist497 It's a Phoenix HP22A.

  • .22lr causes the most deaths cuz .22s are on the streets like candy i got my first .22 when i was 13 years old off the streets thats the only reason its used in so many murders and robberies

  • What are you amish?

  • I dont know about this weapon ,looks like a nice gun, but you should fire it up a little not at the ground...

  • any weapon is deadly u just gotta hit dem in their muthafuckin face.. lmao.

  • @insanegamer223 right?? haha

  • they have horrible fucking safety!

  • I bought one of these great guns at a gun show myself in Iowa. I put about 300 rounds into it, when the sear broke. It's a T-shaped internal component that's known to go bad after awhile. If the casings fail to eject, the sear is probably damaged. Other than that, it was a fun gun to shoot.

  • They are really nice pistols for the price. The only thing I couldn't stand about mine was the mag safety. You can't pull the magazine out without putting it on safety. Once I removed that from the gun there wasn't anything more to complain about.

  • wow those r the same targets i use lol\

  • Isn't Trade Show where they sell jewelry?

  • She's a cutie.

  • Reminds me of a Walther PPK..

  • Most cowards that break into homes with people present will flee when a few .22 rounds are fired their way. It hurts, maims, and kills, and they know it! A .22 is FAR better than nothing.

  • For someone in a pinch who needs a concealable self defense option, this would serve the purpose I guess. They are made of poor materials but do work. For me a .22 is about busting pop cans and having fun. A Ruger or Browning target pistol. I like the Ruger myself.

  • 10 rounds? y u only load 7?

  • i love her safty

  • sucks they ran saxet out of austin

  • Hey man great video! I am picking mine up on Tuesday. What ammo do you recommend for target? I was thinking Federal round nose 40 grain hv 1200 fps.. Is that too heavy of a round for weekly target? I know they recommend standard velocity but that seems subsonic out a 3" barrel.. I'd like the highest punch possible that is safe for the gun.. Thanks!

  • i just bought this same little pistol, and it shoots great.

  • what was that a staple gun

  • She is cute i like her!

  • George bush.

  • BE CAREFUL GRAMPS.

  • Can't wait to pick my gun up... it's black though. Note: teach the young'n to clear a gun after the last round. A 22lr is a mean little round. Peace-

  • I work in law enforcement in PA and all guns are taught to be equally dangerous including a bb gun. So just because it sounds like a firecracker and barley flinches upon fire, doesnt mean it can't penetrate your skull....

anyways, looks like a fun gun to shoot and enjoy, you can get .22 LR for $1.99 here in Pittsburgh, im sure they're cheaper in TX. but sure beats $25 for .45's...

PS the videographer should always be behind the shooter, he's lucky he didn't get clipped with ahot shell

  • low kick, and its also cheep. very, very cheep.

  • no offense, but why does every gun shooting video seem to be in Texas? Also, .22 cals usually don't have much recoil, right?

  • how loud is a 22

  • @oOBunnyackOo I know. It is deadly, and it's still a gun, not a toy. But for defense, I'd rather have my .380. Still, I know a guy who carries a 22lr (Walther). I'd be pretty satisfied with a 22lr at my side. I just like my .380 more than any other gun I've fired, and it's a safer bet if you aim for the chest, or even the head (which I would never do. Always shoot center mass).

  • trade show coming to phoenix. I'll look for one around that price. Anyone know if you can make offers at trade shows our are they all set on proces??

  • @WHATUG

That all depends on the seller. If you want to jew/haggle the price down, make sure to offer a reasonable amount and have the cash in hand so the seller knows you're serious and not just a tire kicker. Just my 2-cents.

  • I agree that a 22lr is not the best defense round. But it does have the highest death toll of any bullet in the world. So, how reliable is this gun? How accurate? More importantly, how much fun? I'm trying to get something that's cheaper to shoot than my .380. Since I'm trying to save a buck on ammo, I figured I might as well save a buck on the gun, too. Is this one worth it? I've been finding them for $130-$179...

  • @DB7Volante

It's my sister's gun so I haven't shot it a lot, but she likes it and I thought it was fun to shoot. I personally like my Springfield XD 9mm and it's cheaper to shoot than .380 (9mm $10-12 box).

  • @deeringdeluxe Thanks for the info. A 22lr is still my first choice, but I'll consider a 9mm. The XD is a little out of my price range, but I have fired one, and I can see why you like it. Accurate, reliable, fun.

  • @DB7Volante i am deffinatly a fan of a higher cal but this gun has been very reliable for me. but let me tell you this is a fun little toy. and for the price you cant beat it .... if anyone know's of any mods (laser's, grips, etc) please comment and let me know.

  • @DB7Volante yes you are right, most people dont like the 22lr but that round has killed more people than any other round, mainly due to the fact of cheapness of ammo size of the gun ,easy to carry, and most popular round.

  • The ,22 is not much of a man stopper, meaning it more then likley wont drop somebody in their tracks, but it is a man killer, the Bullet tumbles and moves around alot on impact so it has a chance to do alot of damage bouncing around inside, problem is it takes awhile for a person to bleed and lose bloodpressure and fall out, so while his injuries would probably be fatal, he will have plenty of time to kill you before he falls out,

  • I'd hate to try to stop an intruder with a .22, especially if he was coming at me with a weapon. The only shot that would be a sure kill is a headshot or possibly a direct shot to the heart, anything else and the intruder will have enough time to do you damage!

  • @deeringdeluxe Many people think it's the size of the bullet. thats not true. it's where you put it. you can be shot in the arm, shoulder, leg, with a 45 and still keep going. but if you get a 22lr in the right spot heart, lung, eye socket, you can go down fast. Speed defense training with any weapon will increse you chance of hittting the right spot in a panic shoot out. weapon does not matter, it's all in the hands of the shooter.

  • @deepcover01 , you are right. the .22 is not much man stopper. I rather use .22 to stop the threat and i don't have to worry about high kick like .45 . 22 pistol has a great low kick and it can shoot 10 rounds into centermas in 5 seconds plus back up mags another 10 rounds :)

  • @deepcover01 knew a guy who liked a 22 and said I wont knock you down with one shot but I will hit you with every round

  • is it true that a .22 can damage a deer more than a .45 because the .22 breaks into pieces on impact?

  • Never heard that one. But no, the .22 wouldn't because it doesn't have enough powder behind it (bullet is going too slow for the small amount of lead). Now the .223 and .22-250 will kill a deer and do a lot of damage, but I've never shot a deer with a .45 to have anything to compare it to. Personally I'll stick to my 30-06. =)

  • How does it perform with Federal Value pack 550rd ammo?

  • That's what we were shooting. I'm not sure about long term performance since I've only shot it that once, but my sis says it's done fine every time she's shot it.

  • I have this gun. Its not a bad gun.I paid 129 plus txs. The magizine holds 10 rds but only loed 7 or 8 to avoid jaming cause the mag gets to tight.. use cci blazer 22 rds.they work great in this plinker.

  • how was he able to buy the gun and get it the same day. is the 10 day waiting period only here in California?

  • The fellow at the start of the video mentions that he's in Texas.

When you up-size your combo at a Texas McDonalds, it often includes a hand gun as a little extra.

  • Hahaha! Thats great...

  • I live in California laws suck for gun owners It looks like you are shooting in a park. We can only shoot at the range or privet property and you must be 500ft from a road or building

  • Yeah, CA isn't the place for freedom loving gun owners. BTW, we're shooting out in the country at our church's 8 acres.

  • when your actually shooting at somebody your not wearing ear protection

  • But I always put in my earplugs before shooting someone! lol jk

Thanks for that bit of info DOC OBVIOUS!! =)

  • What happened when you shot it the first time? Only got off 7.. Did it jam? Looked like it still had rounds in the mag

  • If he loaded the mag full there would have been two left in the mag and one in the chamber. He said he was going to "shoot a couple rounds", not sure why he didn't finish off the mag.

  • The young lady fired the last three rounds.

  • Thanks captain obvious i was asking if it jammed because after the guy shot 7, he pulled the trigger again and the hammer dropped and it didn't fire.

  • @ETERNALH8 yeah and also there was rounds remaining in the clip after he removed it.

  • @ETERNALH8 the gun holds 6 plus 1 and the gun doesnt have last round hold open so thats why it clicked because it was empty

  • @GunNut12680 Watch the video again he says it holds 10 rounds FOOL

  • @ETERNALH8 shall we resort to name callin?u peopl got problems up on youtube.i responded with no aggression but you just had to start huh? and it wasnt a round left in the chamber..i thik the case didnt eject.so take your ritalin and relax boi

  • @ETERNALH8

yeah i noticed that. also waving it around cocked, no safety at first. failure to fire/feed, drops the mag with rounds in it... prob doesnt go back in all the way due to a loose round floating around in there. gun safety is important!

  • @ETERNALH8 ever occur to you that he only loaded with 6 or 7 rounds?and yeah i forgot the phoenix holds 10...but common sense dummy..most 22s dont lock back.smh

  • @GunNut12680 go ahead idiot keep correcting yourself. The gun holds 6+1 now its 10 LOL. There appeared to still be rounds in the magazine thats why I asked in the first place. I never said anything about it locking back either kid. Go bitch somewhere else

  • @ETERNALH8 we all make mistakes which ima man for realizing that...i probably know more about guns than you do coming from a family full of gun owners.im aware the phoenix arms pistols in .25 and .22 both hold 10 rounds...i was thinking of the jimenez thats why i said that becUSE I JUST WAS WATCHING BOTH VIDS..i know u didnt say nothin about slide lockin back but i just threw it in there anyway.youre the one that started with the names bruh.

  • @ETERNALH8 hey im not here to argue wit u bro..just tried to help...youll find this pistol to be suprisingly reliable..good luck bro.

  • you guys are wearing ear muffs or whatever, and its only a 22 lol

i dont wear anything shooting my shotty

  • Better safe than sorry when it comes to your hearing or eye sight my friend. =)

  • i guess....

  • What? Huh? I can't hear you.. Say goodbye to your hearing....

  • I think I hold the record with a 110 yard shot with this thing.

  • what did you shoot at, the sky? lol

  • lol. You inspired me to buy a new one(sold my last one). And go for the 200 yard shot!

  • That's a good gun very reliable but after 6000 rounds the frame would surely break into two parts. It would be a great back-up weapon.

  • mine cracked after 3000 rounds has any one else had this problem

  • is that 22 good accuracy?

  • I didn't shoot it a lot, but it seemed to be pretty good.

  • This .22 is sweet!
