There is a difference between going for the team you are going, and to actually know about soccer and predict for the best team. In my personal opinion mexico national team is better. You can even notice in this video. Mexico even has plenty of "Europeans" (mexicans that play in europe in FCs). Usa is good, and somewhat lucky. but Mexico is better.

@merz1burner True, but that was two long years ago, and many of the US players were still relatively inexperienced, with less than half of the team ever having played in any competitive international tournament before. Plus, the match was played in Mexico City, which surely favored Mexico. This time it's on home, well, "neutral" turf (southern Califoria is as much Mexico as it is America). Of course now there is the Chicharito factor, but Mex is without 5 of their best. Sure to be a good match.
