And we had Heather Whyte and Ines de La Fressange, the most beautiful face among the supermodels with a desirable personality. True. Today's models just seek attention and have awful personalities to boot. Or they are snatched away by tv and movie people some into obscurity. Rachel Roberts, Sienna Guillory, Amber Valetta, Ambrosia etc could have been +supermodel stuff. But imo the cutthroat fashion industry is to be blamed.

how i miss those days!!!!!i agree with mansfield67....the supermodels today are generic looking....they are either brazilian or czech...etc...they are skinny but with nice breast...but that is it...cindy had the mole, stephanie had the eyes, linda was like a chameleon, christy was classic...karen mulder was the blonde bombshell..helena was exotic... claudia looked like a barbie..elle has got the legs...GOSH!!!!! fashion designers should bring them back

More than anything else, they looked like grown women- now they feature bland girls with no real depth or allure. I remember bending the spines of Vogue and Bazaar magazines so I could neatly remove layouts and ads of the supermodels, like Linda and Christy. Now, I can hardly be bothered to buy them...

OMG! so agree! Back then they looked so larger than life...like another species almost! I was barely 7 years old when this collection came out...but I would much rather flip through the pages of a 1992 Bazaar than anything from now... I prefer the faces AND the fashions...

@ariodante76 the reason why models nowadays look bland and lifeless is because designers don't want people to be distracted so much by the beauty of the models. they want the focus more on girls. basically they are just walking hangers now.
