Gene is with no doubt the best dancer of all times.Excellent actor, good singer, nice figure, elegant man. A great joy to see him dancing. In a word a perfectionist. His scene 'singing in the rain' is unforgettable, a classic in the history of musicals. Thanks a million Basil for this also unforgettable series.
