back in the day, I Jailbroke my 1st gen 16g ipod. Something that was said to not work and fuck your iPod, I did it about 5 times, and I'm STILL using that same, exact ipod to this day. And have had no problems what so ever.

well, there are non risks in my expirience i did it twice and first time it went wrong so i repaired it (there was a video on youtube how to) the second time went fine and now i'm on 2.2.1 and tried 5 minutes ago to jailbreak it went wrong but good that i had the firmware so i repaired it again and now lookin for a beter jailbreaking program ^^ so don't be scared to try it

I discovered what is wrong. This program just works for firmware 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 I think. The lastest firmware available now is the 2.2.

you need another software called "WinPWN". You need the lastest version so that it works with the lastest firmware (2.2 at the moment), or else it will be impossible.
