I have studied the effects of different roles we play and how those roles are largely defined by, 1) Our name 2) Our perceived appearance (how we believe we look to others) 3) Our apparel 4) Tattoos, piercings & hair 5) Internet Screen Names
I have found that all 5 of these create (and when changed create a different) a persona, to the point hat one will not deviate from a conceived idea of 'who' they are in regards to this persona.
hard to explain in so few words, but this is proof here
What an interesting approach to studying the effects of dress to personality and how a new garment or outer skin is transformational. Imagine how brides feel when trying on a wedding gown for the first time. And, I am struck how these "actors" become worriers, protectors, and even a corpse. Congratulations to Linda Stein for this groundbreaking work!..bambe levine
