Si, band d'apertura a Roma la PFM. L'anno prima concerto a Bologna.... decisamente migliore di questo di Roma, un po' "freddo"

What on earth was Ian Gillian doing while Ritchie and Jon were showing off? No wonder the band couldn't stay together. They have great songs, but where are they here? Fifty minutes before we get to "Speed King"? No wonder the audience never shuts up.

@itsglen9646 Sometimes Gillan went to a pub during long solos. If Ritchie or Jon wanted to end their solos, they ordered a roadie to call Gillan.^^

And this concert is great!

Gillan alway said that he liked long solos.

Talk about pioneering, 1971 playing gigs, tours were being built as you go and your original generation were all diggin you. Must have been one heck of a time.

I got many Deep Purple-live-albums and they are all great!

But it's sad that for example this concert was not recorded professionell. This version of Child In Time is awsome!!!!!

I think a live-album from the Fireball-tour is missing.

@Conneyfogle Any chance getting the full mandrake root uploaded? It cuts off at the eruption at about 28.25. If you could, that would be great. If its only a few seconds, never mind. But there are some versions witch have a longer eruption at that part.
