Indeed, Israel is not interested in peace. It was founded upon the deaths of one million innocent Palestinians, and it is attempting to kill all the remaining Palestinians without appearing to be a warmonger nation. That, combined with the fact that the use of nuclear weapons would spell the destruction of Israel itself by setting off a worldwide nuclear war, is the only reason Israel hasn't used nuclear weapons yet.
Chris Hedges is speaking the truth. May God make more people to stand up and speak the truth against the Israeli crimes against the Palestinians. Israel is not interested in peace, they want to grab more land and keep the Palestinians subject to their crimes. The Palestinians have the right to resist the occupation just like many nations before them.
