  • Goddamn!! Love this!!!!

  • JUST GOT BACK FROM THEIR CONCERT IN DETROIT!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEST EVEERRR

  • the black keys are like a fresh pair of chucks! the best band out today! and have been the best for ten years. they didn't just pop up when El Camino came out like most people think. the bees knees i say.

  • Comment removed

  • words can explain how i feel about this song...though i do feel like im being hypnotized if that helps

  • AMAZING !!!!!!

  • The folks who disliked this have a heavy soul... I'm sorry y'all.

  • @akrochester24 are u saying this song is no good?

  • @TheCityofgood No! I was being a "silly goose". This song is great. I'm glad to see a resurgence of truly american music. Maybe this song will remind people that we make steel and freedom in the US. haha

  • @akrochester24 gotcha. didnt know what u meant by the comment so i asked. thanks for the clarification haha

  • Groove.

  • i used to be dealing with a blues badass until i took an arrow to the knee.

  • @elbowoits No. Go away. Those jokes are not funny in the least bit, and you should feel bad for using it.

  • @elbowoits shut up and take that shit somewhere else. this is sexy music and should be treated as such. btw that's old and isn't funny at all. it wasn't funny in the first place either.

  • I must say the alternate version on the vinyl is better than this one!

  • @UTF Vinyl is allways better :)

  • @UTF

that seems like it would be impossible...

  • @UTF The alt version is soooooo bluesy and heavy, just amazing. But i have to be honest is difficult to understand what his saying at some points but this version is clearer.

  • FUCKIN MOJO..........

  • @thecityofgood thanks man, radio moscow are alright, and that gary Clarke jr guy is cool.

  • Led Zeppelin IV

  • @fearghal10 The Black Keys I

  • @thecityofgood yeah, I don't listen to much modern music at all, there is some ok stuff on the folk scene, plus seasick steve and c w stoneking in blues, but in terms of rock I haven't heard anything. The most recent rock album I heard that wasn't awful was wolfmother's first album (the other was atrocious) and that wasn't great. The White stripes did some ok stuff. The last rock album I would say is an all out good album is probably never mind the bollocks, and the last great one led Zeppelin

  • @fearghal10 have u heard of graveyard? their lastest album hisingen blues crushes anything wolfmother has ever made and crushes most rock albums made in the last 5 years i say. Try out graveyard.

  • @fearghal10 there's also witchcraft, high on fire, radio moscow, asteroid and tame impala. There's also upcoming solo artist gary clark jr. IM CERTAIN that ur bound to like at least 1 of the bands/artists i've mentioned.

  • @thecityofgood I only listened to the song once, before my original comment. The other comments were replies to the replies I got. I don't hate them or anything, they just don't do it for me, and just commenting "I don't think much of it" seemed unsatisfactory. I might have got carried away a bit.

  • @fearghal10 Thats fine man. Its not like the black keys are the only band that makes better music than most of the mainstream crap thats out anyways. If the keys dont float your boat, there are other modern day bands (some even more heavier & more energetic than tbk) that might do it for you. I can recommend u some if u want.

  • @thecityofgood true, but the quidity of a performance should be the performer, and the better the song the better you know the performer by the end. Therefore, either they are being genuine, but the song is bad and so conveys the performers badly, giving the aforementioned effect, or the song is fine but the impression we get of the performer does not match the song, and gives the same effect. Both reflect badly on the band.

  • @fearghal10 sorry, but i barely agree. I've seen the keys play live quite a few times back in 2004-2005 and i've never got the impression that they're trying too hard and i've been into blues like music all my life. Maybe u should listen to more of their music or see them live to get a better feel for the "naturalism" of the performer cause he doesnt really lack it as much as u may believe based off this 1 song. Other than that, if u made the choice that u just dont care for the keys then fine.

  • I'm cool with dirty, just not when it feels out of place.

  • @sallycheecha no man, I'm just saying it doesn't sound endemic to the performer, it sounds like they are trying to be something that they are not. Hendrix sounds completely natural. Everyones sound is based in what they listen to, but it's their own reworking and combining of influences with a bit of themselves thrown in. Music is a medium of self expression, not pure recycling. (This sounds very musically snobby to me too, I just felt I had to justify my given opinion.)

  • @fearghal10 With all due respect, u dont personally know the peformer, so how can u say that they sound like there trying to be something there not? is not possible that the keys are being totally genuine in the style of the music they do? i mean, the late junior kimbrough, whos the lead singer's biggest influence, really liked the keys and digged what they do. TBK even did a tribute project to junior called chulahoma where they covered his songs n kimbrough's wife thought they did a great job.

  • The new album is fine, but it's this stuff that keeps me coming back for more.

  • I'm trying to figure out if I like them or not, I don't know. It feels like they as trying too hard to make it dirty. And the second half of the riff is lifted from countless old muddy waters and howlin' wolf songs, but I guess that's the blues. But then towards the end they decided to try and go all beefheart too, it just feels put on.

  • @fearghal10 Music is cyclical man. I'm sure there are various other songs you like that use riffs or beats from other artists that inspire said artist. Nothing is "put on" except for a badass show. Too dirty... what are you thinkn? Was Hendrix tryin to hard to make it sound trippy? (Which is how he expanded the guitar's vocab... bc he TRIED something new) Were The Rolling Stones trying to hard to sound Rock n Roll?? Get ova urself. Enjoy music. Stop frontin. You like it or you dont.

  • fuckin A

  • Dirtiest riff of the last 30 years? If you disagree, tell me what's dirtier...

  • @KidMLV 96 quite bitter beings by CKY.

  • @KidMLV almost anything by RATM

  • @KidMLV Anything by The White Stripes..

  • @13FooFighter lol thats how i feel guess where not alone.

  • makes me want to walk about wearing flares. big fucking wide one, like. brilliant.

  • this band is fucking awesome

  • Those Gentlemen Are Heroes.

  • OOOOHH DINGA!!!

  • dinguS

  • dingus..

  • NOT EVEN FUCKING CLOSE BABYYY

  • @change139 We're cool bro ;)

  • The Black Keys are not hipster music, thank you. In fact...I think most people here would agree that hipsters are the newest craze (like emo and all that shit) to ENDLESS piss off people who like real music and aren't just fashion pricks who follow the gravy train to pound town.

  • @lastcatamount I wanna follow the gravy train to pound town.

  • @lastcatamount ....HAHAHAHAHAHA...what?

  • @lastcatamount This isn't, but their new stuff definitely is. El Camino is a really shitty album. Lonely Boy, especially, sounds exactly like what everyone else is doing right now. It doesn't even sound like the same band anymore.

  • sexayyy

  • This shit is so deep..... My soul is fuckin shakin'!!!! Can't get enough. I'm not blind but my head is shakin' as so!!! Love it!!

  • oh god now i gotta find Change139s comment.

  • i think i´m the only one kid that like the black keys or old blues or bluesrock music ... -----------

  • @13FooFighter trust me. You're not.

  • @TCHRacoon and that's a very good thing that he's not. Obviously.

  • @13FooFighter you're not, me too

  • Comment removed

  • production cost...one blank cd

  • I´m here because of my momma.

  • Im here because of Gizmodo.

  • God Backs them~

  • @loveless281 If you run 4 president you've got my vote! XD

  • if you can't feel this song in your soul, then you don't have one... it's that simple.

  • @jaypop79 gingers?

  • Thumbs up if macgruber sent you here

  • I wish everyone would just let pop fans be pop fans and rock fans be rock fan and quit all this "this is the only real music." Everyone is allowed to like what they want you cant just say somethings wrong because it doesn't appeal to you. If you hate pop don't listen to it and don't judge those who do. That being said i would take the Black Keys over any pop band.

  • @redandwhite12

Political correctness gone mad. Sometimes you have to be objective and point out that some music is just utter shit created for morons.

  • @DiamondSoul "Shit" is all opinion man. I'm just argueing that people need to stop complaining what is and isn't mainstream and just listen to the music. Just stop complaining that not everyone can enjoy our music and just let them be "morons" and enjoy their music even if we find it tasteless. Music is not something to be forced everyone should listen to what they want. This is just my view. IDK man maybe i'm just talking alot useless shit XD anyways point being enjoy the music

  • Why isn't this kind of music popular yet???!!! I guess i'll have to hide in my basement until that kind of society arises!

  • @jkbpttrsn 200,000 view is pretty popular...

  • @hailmasch Look at Justin Bieber's "Baby", that's popular

  • @jkbpttrsn So what? 200,000 views is hardly obscure.

  • @hailmasch it isn't, but compared to JB's 600,000,000 + views, it's nothing

  • @jkbpttrsn oh shut up!

  • This is music.

  • its hard to believe, with the way music is today, that this is a new band

  • @uvebeentagged How is this new?

  • im no homo but i think if i had the chance to make love with these guys i might just go through with it

  • 3 people are poisoned by pop.

  • the people who pressed dislike are dead inside.

  • Look up soul in the dictionary and there's a picture of these guys.

  • Just stop saying that little bastard's name and listen to the fucking music!

  • Proud to be an Ohioan.

  • @Awesomedude50 it should be Ohioite or somethin. Ohioan sounds weird

  • @TheyCallMeMoney420 Buckeye.

  • Jesus listens to the blues.

  • @Theindependentfilmer what if im an atheist and i like this song

  • @XxBlackOpsBeastxX Then you don't get any free wine

  • @Theindependentfilmer only if jesus was real=/

  • @Fukinmatty Which, you know, He is. :)

  • This band is the Savoy Brown of modern times.

  • @change139 Are you like, twelve or something? I didn't say that... But it really frustrates me how the first thing I read when I go to listen to an awesome tune like this has something to do with the whole hipster anti-bieber, anti-mainstream music fashion. Okay, its not your thing - that's fine, but why bring up what you don't like when listening to something you obviously do? Make zero sense.

  • @Alkali64 thank you, dude. i hate people like that. up vote, bro

  • @Alkali64 THANK YOU!

  • sounds like he's singing "give me soul"

  • is this really the same Black Keys as the Bkac Keys that did "Tighten Up"?

    it can't be...

  • @GrandRiffAuto73 Yes, yes it is.

  • @GrandRiffAuto73 haha this is real black keys

  • Putain, les gars, ça c'est bon !!

  • True Music!

  • Macgruber:)

  • @69696969696969696994 thats where i heard the song from

  • this song is the reason people live, people. this song is the reason boyz become men, and girls become beautiful, beautiful women. it is songs like this one that make the world go round, this and the endless humping tht goes on during it. this song made the world stop and say, "hey, thats pretty cool dude." this song is what the worlds most interesting man listens to, and its the only on he listens to. Listen to tht? its real and true, its called.........wait for it....................music.

  • Like god cumming your ear.

  • this is music i can totally dig to riding on my longboard :)

  • your head is so dumb

  • rock never died blues did and many of these bands are bringing blues back to main stream

  • The resurrection of Rock as we love it

  • Comment removed

  • Its pretty cool that rock n roll still exists like this

  • this is some cool shit, reminds me of Muddy Waters with regards to the riff and sparse lyrics.

  • never heard this version of it. TOP NOTCH!!

  • @peterrozwalacz You do know that rock is essentially built upon the blues?

  • As long as there are listeners, Rock will never die.

  • I'd rather listen to Rosanna. hahaha.

  • Fuck yea rock and roll is still caughin up blood, it aint gone yet!

  • Heavy soul darlin heavy soul darlin heavy soul darlin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!glad to see them at the R&R Hall of FAme!

  • great, now i wanna go to a pub, drink whisky and light a cigarette again...

  • this band is the fuckin best i heard in the last 20 years. In Level with Jimi. Unbelivable dirty and the Sound comes out of the latest hole to kick you in the universe.

  • @Romulus71 level with jimi? really dude? lol. I love tbk and they're awesome. but you can't possible be serious in saying that dan auerbach is anywhere near jimi.

that being said, i love the black keys.

  • @stilt37 jimi is jimi. its not the technique, and he cant play tht funky style like jimi, but the feeling is not far away. dirty dying guitar with pure feeling and a voice ... Blues or Bluesrock dont need the best guitarplayer

  • @stilt37 and what i forget to say. booth playe songs with inspiration from Howlin Wolf. Take a look at spoonful

  • @Romulus71 yes they share influences, and dan is influenced heavily by hendrix himself. but that doesn't mean they are on the same level. saying that they are is a pretty big slap in the face to jimi. both are still awesome.

  • @stilt37 thts not mathematic ;-)

  • This song makes me want to start writting again....

  • FUCKING AMAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAZING BAND!

  • This video should be on youporn

  • Jesus i never thought that two dudes would be capable of giving me that fuzzy feeling that you can't explain without the words passionate love. I wanna cry and dance.

  • I want to go to there.

  • sweet jesus what fuzz pedal is that sounds like a baby was just born in my ears 0.0

  • John Lee Hooker lives in this song

  • @TaffyRaphie that is a correct statement to make

  • One person has no soul.

  • @StJamesYT or was born a woman

  • One person has no soul.

  • This is one of the few albums I actually want to hold in my hand.

  • Hear that? It's called no auto-tune you Justin Beiber, Kesha, Lady Ga Ga, Little Wayne loving bastards!

  • @loveless281 YAH HEAR THAT!?!?!...... No? Yah probably not.... Man dont even bother, those ppl have no hope.

  • @loveless281

. . . i like everybody you just named . . . well everyone except the beibs. but i lke gaga ke$ha n lil wayne AND the black keys along with jimi hendrix james brown, muddy waters and other blues and rock n roll bands and artist. i understand where you coming from, but i hate all the bashing agaisnt other genres and artist. stop the hatred. ^_^ =P

  • @loveless281 I hear That, I love Zeppelin, Cream, Purple, and Sabbath and this and radio mascow are the only modern bands I like. But the voices sound cool but different, the vocals sound like the singer is far from the microphone.

  • @loveless281 gaga doesn't autotune but i agree on the rest

  • @ycontrol1459 yus she duz

  • @loveless281 also with a crappy mic!!! :D

  • @loveless281 ffuuuuuuuuuuuu-

  • Really want this album, i've only listened to their newer stuff so far, but this is awesome!!! :-)

  • They sound A LOT like Muddy Waters!

    Awesome shit!

  • this is new to me! great stuff!!

  • I bet that one guy feels like a douche.

  • Comment removed

  • This band is f***ing incredible.

  • MacGruber!

  • anyone else think someone is gonna pop up with a "1 person was meant to say dis i like"?

  • This song starts out like plain popcorn. Then after two bars it pours on a heavy dose of butter and the drums add some salt for a perfect treat. And you can't get enough.
