Yeah S6 was a little meh. Which is disappointing because it ruined the "It gets better every season" thing they had going for it. Season 7 has been very emotional so far...I'll be glad when Cas makes his way back.
Boo! I'm a massive Heroes fan but I must admit seasons 2-4 was no where as amazing as the first (how can they be) but I still like them. I think Glee has the Heroes syndrome the second season appears to be not as amazing as the first.
Did you think The King's Speech deserved Best Picture more than The Social Network or Inception?
The Iron Giant is wonderful. Brad Bird also did The Incredibles and Ratatouille. And the new Mission Impossible! Love that guy.
I didn't like Tintin very much...it looked great, but all those action scenes were overkill. I liked J. Edgar quite a bit, but the makeup didn't look very good.

I agree with you on SPN S6, it just wasn't as good as S2-5 (not a big fan of S1) but I'm actually really enjoying S7 so far, the Leviathan have been really cool bad guys and I think it seems more like they know where there as apposed to S6 which was just all over the place.
I do not get why everyone likes Castill. I find him annoying and kind of a lazy way to write the show. Before they had to do all the research for anything they wanted to know themselves. Now over the last three years they would just call cas and ask him and most of the time he would sayeither what it was or I can't tell you. I found him a joke in most of the ways. I like the brothers more. What I did not like about 6th season is how they turned the Cambell family into a bunch of knobs.

I can't believe you didn't get a Blu Ray Player, that seemed like the obvious choice and there alot cheaper.
