funny post, yes the M3 trash a 5 years older car by fractions of a second on a track , lets see what will happens against the RS5 , why didn't you mention the RS6 and the current M5 butt hurt much ? Alpina is not standard, and yet it does trash nothing on a track as for an x5 and the Q7 is the funniest comparaison i ve heard . the funny part is that in this video the Audi is better , sooo end of story and stop being a sore loser

in the beginning, audi was less than bmw, soon they were about equal and now i think audi is etching above bmw.. bmw's style is ugly, and the interior quality goes to AUDI hands down. Bmw is still making great performance, but so is audi. Audi is also coming out with great new concepts and cars such as the R8 and the rs6, the s5 and a3 models.. Bmw came out with the 1 series which almost looks dumb.. but it is cool i guess. Audi is the future, true quality interior with performance and awd.

I have to agree with dubgli & mad12guitarist. I hate the new body style (they got power though), but it looks like the guy that designed them had a thing for sharks. I love my E39 M5, it hasn't given me problems yet, and it doesn't attract too much attention, unless they know what they're looking at. :P

Audi vs BMW. Best car in the world voted most times is actually a Lexus. Anyways, don't shout and swear or insult me. They are all good. I have found that BMW's do not like shit roads and give problems when handled roughly (electrical, switchgear etc.) Audi's interior is soft and drivetrain weak (gearbox, diffs) Also, turbo's give way. Mercedes's are lumps and do not inspire confidence. Still feels like an old man's car. Lexus smooth and durable. M's are sharp, AMG's brutal and RS's balanced.

Comments like yours is the exact reason why I purchased an Audi and will purchase another one. I have not looked back and enjoyed every second of my A6. All season, all weather driveability.

Yes your the typical audi buyer/rep car. Who probably cant afford a bmw but buy an audi and then bleave they have the better car. No disrepect to audi and im not saying there a bad car because they are excellent cars just not as good, hence cheaper.

What you find has my 530d is powering down the m62 that nearly every audi wants to race you.. to prove a point. They will pull into the middle lane to let you pass then put there foot down (especially the diesel drivers). I have yet to loose.

Actually no I am not. I was a former BMW owner and could not wait to get rid of it. If you knew your economics, you would know that people that own Audi's make more money than BMW owners. And no, I do not race, I'm all about making good time and not getting my license revoked. Don't worry, you will lose eventually just like my cousin lost his 5 series to a wall because he tried to race an Audi in the rain.

with all due respect 'people that own Audi's make more money than BMW owners' is almost comical. Thats what audi drivers tell each other. Nothing do with the fact that bmw (like 4 like) are dearer. BMW dealers do not haggle about price - AUDI do (fact) audi depreciate more than BMW's also because they are less desirable (fact) no doubt the quatro handles well if you want to pay extra, but audi are in the past RWD is the best way to go, audi are still using FWD which is just stupid.
