Dw in gw2 some classes have tons of healing and support spells, Like elementalist have healing water spells and etc. :D

@zachyboy13528 No...you didnt, You said there is only self heals and potions. If you do basic research you see that almost every class has group heals. Rangers have healing spring, Engineers have healing turrets and med kits, Eles have water skills that heal teammates, etc.

Actually, I hate that some games are "required" to have a Healer or a Tanker. I totally agree with GW2's logic. Why wait for a long time to find a healer/tank. Each class should have some ways to tank/heal/control/dps. The key is to make each class somewhat unique enough.

BZZZT Brink wasn't good. It was 'good' the first five hours of playing, but once you're done beating the story, there wasn't anything interesting to do. Hell, you couldn't even bring up your custom character to online except for skills. I think The Force Unleashed 2 was a lot better than it, and that game sucked ass.

I don't think you should worry about Rage much since it looks pretty great, John Carmack himself admitted that making consoles the lead platform was big mistake because when they started development around the time consoles were somewhat near the level of PCs they figured "why not" but later through development time PCs became about 10x more powerful and they regretted doing that. But they said that they are working with Nvidia and Intel to squeeze some juice out of current hardware.

I've been playing video games for the past 8 years now (I'm 18 now), but before I was left out on video games because my parents found it a waste of time, I had a Ps1 with a few titles like Crash bandicoot 3, bash, team racing, and so on.

And I feel like I've missed alot of good PC games, mainly looking for adventures or platformers like Rayman, any suggestions?

@memyselfdinges My mind is drawing a blank when it comes to games similar to Rayman on the pc. Unless you mean 2d(super meat boy, cave story) but 3d I'm not sure. There are some cool action/adventure games. An old one that comes to mind is Rune(released in 2000). Another one I like is Jedi Academy or any of the Jedi Knight games. Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Of course the Prince of Persia/Tomb Raider games are good platformers. Most of these are on consoles though.

i dont see why everyone seems to think battlefield 3 graphics are "THE BEST EVERRRRRRR". theyre good considering they run on a generic engine, but lots of games on the ps3, pc and 360 look as good, if not far better (eg. god of war 3, uncharted 2, killzone 3, bioshock infinite, shogun 2, metro 2033 etc.). im pretty sure itll be great even though im not a battlefield fan, but the graphics just seem a vastly over inflated feature

I really wonder how people play games and fully appreciate them these days. Actually, I've been wondering for a while now as it's hardly a new phenomenon. That's 9 games to be released this year alone and all of them pretty huge requiring hundreds of man-hours of work to be made; the scope of some of them being utterly immense. I reckon I could play just one of these my whole gaming life and be satisfied. It's a crazy culture but it must work otherwise it wouldn't exist, makes a lot of money. :)

I didnt like IW too.It had dumb twists(like nobody knew what D. stand for),dumbed down progression system removing skills and only leaving biomods,long loadtimes(later i figured out the load times are checking if you have the disk in),awful physics (bodies are weightless) dumber than the first one AI the Universal ammo system the inventory, food takes as much space as a flamethrower.Its shorter than the first its easier than the first game and the endings suck.

@Dinosaurdiary As a standalone game I wouldn't say it's the worst game in the world, it's just mediocre. But as a Deus Ex sequel, it failed miserably. As kickfly222 pointed out, it was really dumbed down. And I agree that the endings sucked. The whole last level left a bad taste in my mouth.
