Wydaje mi się, że zderzenia można było uniknąć, trochę za późno zareagowałeś.
Przy 86km/h widać dobrze co się kroi, a wtedy masz maskę jeszcze przed tylnym kołem xary.A Ty dalej w pedał ...ale nie hamulca tylko gazu...i klakson dopiero jak xara Ci w bok wjeżdża. Zabrakło zasady ograniczonego zaufania...domyślam się, że auto służbowe i rejestracja WI też wiele tłumaczy...bez obrazy, sam jestem ze stolycy. Ale na drodze najpierw hamuję a potem trąbię, nigdy odwrotnie.
Patrząc na ten film mam nieodparte wrażenie, że kierowca zamiast zahamować - zaczął trąbić. Pewnie liczył na opamiętanie kierowcy xsary, ale mimo wszystko (gdybiąc) chyba dałoby się uniknąć takich skutków... Ciesze się, że nikomu nic poważnego się nie stało i wierzę, że kierowca Xsary dwa razy pomyśli zanim wyprzedzi kolejny raz. :-)
Nie było opcji by tego uniknąć ^^ Powiem, że wyglądało to dosyć groźnie ale dobrze, że obyło się bez ofiar śmiertelnych.. Czasami naprawdę nie którzy kierowcy nie powinni mieć prawka, bo nie zwracają wystarczającej uwagi na to co się dzieje w około nich na drodze.
Trzeba było hamulec w podłoge jeśli miałeś ABS. Przynajmniej może dałoby radę uniknąć rowu, xsary by to nie ominęło. Ja dzis miałem podobnie na odcinku Bielsko - Żywiec(kto zna drogę ten wie), długa prosta i z wcześniejszego rozpędu biore się do dwóch aut, przede mną mondeo na prawym i już mi jakoś zaczyna odchodzić i od razu myśle że zrobi to co ja. A ja już byłem na lewym pasi i w martwej strefie, dobrze że odjąłem gaz bo mogłem tak skończyć. No i mnie też pomógł klakson:P

The problem isn't really that I'm in their blind spot though, the problem is that it doesn't even occur to them that someone behind them might start overtaking before they do. Basically they come to a straight and think "Hmm, should I overtake here? Maybe I should...yeah, this looks like a nice spot, I think I'll overtake!" And then they hit the throttle and change lanes...while the guy in behind goes "No meeting cars, overtake!"
This is why I always ALWAYS watch the front tire of the person I'm about to pass, to see if it starts steering into my lane. If it does I always hit the brakes, and THEN give the horn. It's saved me a few times.

Regardless whether or not the cam driver reacted in the proper fashion, the dude not paying attention to his blind spot is to blame. If you don't want to get your car flipped, don't come out of your lane and side swipe someone.... pretty basic stuff.
his car's nose was already half through of that car's length. if he needed to break so hard to avoid collision, he probably would've been hit in the arse by an other car.. imo the only thing that could've saved them both is the other car's reaction time of turning back into his own lane.. but i bet both of them was in a state of "shock" that this just really happened.

The person in silver car is responsible for crash. Guy with camera was already overtaking and before you overtake you MUST check all your mirrors and when you're sure you can overtake. He clearly didn't do this.

yes but was overtaking for quite some time, if he would be checking mirrors he would notice him. You can see that he started increasing speed to overtake the truck when the car behind him was already overtaking him. This kind of crashes are the reason why driving schools are teaching to watch the mirrors regularly.
The car containing the camera clearly had every right to overtake, anyone who thinks otherwise should forfeit their license immediately. What the other driver was thinking is beyond me - they obviously didn't check their blind spot (nor did I see an indicator signal). That said, I'd love to know why the overtaking car didn't seem to touch their brakes. If that were me and some dipshit decided to merge into my front end, I'd be HARD on the brakes approaching ABS engagement, as well as the horn.

@bv90andy "Every right to overtake" might be a bit strong, but no matter how stupid or unnecessary the overtake is you ALWAYS have an obligation to make the overtake as simple and safe as possible, by lowering your speed and/or making more space between you and the car before you. You also have an obligation to check the blind spot AND give sign before moving your car noteably sideways in traffic.

the car in front undoubtedly caused the accident, but the other driver didn't have the right to overtake. in germany and as far as i know in all of the EU the law says that behind a truck the only car that is allowed to overtake it is the one directly behind it.
@alogli Uh what? Not true, besides that, those things are not in EU laws but all country's own laws. Sucks to be in Germany then, when you're behind a car that does 60 kmh and doesnt wanna overtake, you're screwed then.
@alogli I doubt this is the law even in Germany, it certainly is not a common EU law. However, he was, at the time of the accident, only overtaking the car, not the truck. He might be planning to overtake the truck in the same procedure, but wasn't that far yet. Different laws in different countries may have different rules regulating this sort of situation, but in my experience, the car changing a lane has to give way according to the majority of highway codes.
you can doubt all you want. I'm certain that this IS the law in germany and if you think about it, it does make a lot of sense. if, hypothetically there was a long line of cars behind a truck and they all wanted to overtake, the only reasonable and safe order of overtaking is from the car closest to the truck backwards. and in my opinion this order should be obeyed even if it isn't law. the other car is of course still at fault for neither looking nor giving signal. no question... :-)

Wina citroena ewidentna, ale opel tez zaspał totalnie. Taki numer to norma i kierowca opla miał mnóstwo czasu na reakcje. A tu jeden twardszy od drugiego, jak zacznie to nie przerwie choćby miał przydzwonić. Gdybym był takim "twardzielem" jak ten z opla i wyprzedzał do końca nawet jak ktoś ewidentnie wymusza mi pierwszeństwo, to takie dzwony zaliczałbym paręnaście razy do roku.

@spellfireball Nie zgadzam się z Tobą bardzo często właśnie niedzielni kierowcy tak jadą i nie mają zamiaru wyprzedzać najlepiej to wygląda na trasie Warszawa-Lublin gdzie nawet tirem zjedzie do prawej krawędzi a taki nadal za nim jedzie dosłownie wielokrotna codzienność która mnie spotyka, ja uważam że całą winę za zaistniałą sytuację ponosi osoba co nie patrzy w lusterka tym bardziej że manewr rozpoczoł się z prędkości 80km, a już nie wspomnę co by było gdyby w tej sytuacji był motocyklista.

The guy with the camera in the car had right of way. He was legally in the opposite lane and madea safe overtaking, when the car in front of him lay in his lane, and in his page. The guy with the camera whistled, and the car in front did not care. Or so he did not see him. ..and where is the turn-signal? The rule is clear: If you change lane, you must give way.

Czas miał fakt ale nie na HAMOWANIE tylko na odbicie kierownicą w prawo, czyli powrotu na miejsce w którym był. Fakt że to są ułamki sekund ale PATRZY SIĘ W LUSTERKA!!! Jego hamowanie mogło się jeszcze gorzej zakończyć kto wie co się działo za nimi. Ostatnio gość też mnie nie widział w lusterku i dzwon, dobrze że skasował sobie samochód a nie miał AC teraz będzie jeździł autobusem!

The person in silver car is responsible for crash. Guy with camera was already overtaking and before you overtake you MUST check all your mirrors and when you're sure you can overtake. He clearly didn't do this.

You can see that he started increasing speed to overtake the truck when the car behind him was already overtaking him. This kind of crashes are the reason why driving schools are teaching to watch the mirrors regularly.

The car containing the camera clearly had every right to overtake, anyone who thinks otherwise should forfeit their license immediately. What the other driver was thinking is beyond me - they obviously didn't check their blind spot (nor did I see an indicator signal). That said, I'd love to know why the overtaking car didn't seem to touch their brakes. If that were me and some dipshit decided to merge into my front end, I'd be HARD on the brakes approaching ABS engagement, as well as the horn.

@bv90andy "Every right to overtake" might be a bit strong, but no matter how stupid or unnecessary the overtake is you ALWAYS have an obligation to make the overtake as simple and safe as possible, by lowering your speed and/or making more space between you and the car before you. You also have an obligation to check the blind spot AND give sign before moving your car noteably sideways in traffic.

@alogli I doubt this is the law even in Germany, it certainly is not a common EU law. However, he was, at the time of the accident, only overtaking the car, not the truck. He might be planning to overtake the truck in the same procedure, but wasn't that far yet. Different laws in different countries may have different rules regulating this sort of situation, but in my experience, the car changing a lane has to give way according to the majority of highway codes.

I'm certain that this IS the law in germany and if you think about it, it does make a lot of sense. if, hypothetically there was a long line of cars behind a truck and they all wanted to overtake, the only reasonable and safe order of overtaking is from the car closest to the truck backwards. and in my opinion this order should be obeyed even if it isn't law. the other car is of course still at fault for neither looking nor giving signal. no question... :-)

Wina citroena ewidentna, ale opel tez zaspał totalnie. Taki numer to norma i kierowca opla miał mnóstwo czasu na reakcje. A tu jeden twardszy od drugiego, jak zacznie to nie przerwie choćby miał przydzwonić. Gdybym był takim "twardzielem" jak ten z opla i wyprzedzał do końca nawet jak ktoś ewidentnie wymusza mi pierwszeństwo, to takie dzwony zaliczałbym paręnaście razy do roku.
