I listened to the original again. I swear, this one stands up real well against it. Melissa's lead is stunning, vulnerable and strong all at once; Jason's voice is pure as can be and the chemistry between your two performances is more interesting and more resonant than Drake & Alicia's, to me. Throw in the instrumental interpretation and the whole package is truly great and something new. Amazing cover.
