Mace would of actually beaten Sidious in that duel. Windu's Juyo was the perfect style/defense against someone like Sidious. The more his adversary used power against Windu. the more Windu was able to channel & feed off of Sidious power to strengthen himself & overpower his enemy. this is why mace was the most powerful jedi (even over yoda). also Windu didn't even have the height/reach disadvantage that yoda naturally had making it much easier to take Sidious only way to beat mace was indirectly

One way i like to look at it is anakins fall to the dark side can be attributed to mace windu turning to the dark side in which he disobeyed anakins "light side " option and was about to strike down an unarmed opponent (which jedi dont do even to sith ) if only mace had listened nad didnt spend all his time learning that lightsaber technique (Juyo) which can turn you to the dark side. obviously anakin had serious dark issues but i believe mace forgot all of his believes and was blinded by rage:)

in my opinion Darth Traya was far more minipulative than Darth Sidious because ever since ep1 I knew palpatine was Sidious and in the 2nd KOTOR game Kreia/Darth Traya is your advisor and mentor through the whole game until it's revealed that she is the sith lord of betrayal but to me Kreia was such a great character and the KOTOR games really tapped into the true darkside of star wars

@enginetai the problem with that being that as always Sidious liked to pretend to be weaker than he was...always trying to incite people to kill him and hence fall to the dark side themselves...plus in this case it served to help get Anakin to interfere on his behalf, at which point he promptly kills Windu. (Not saying it's impossible that Windu is more powerful just that your particular argument there doesn't convince me is all)

Mace would of actually beaten Sidious in that duel. Windu's Juyo was the perfect style/defense against someone like Sidious. The more his adversary used power against Windu. the more Windu was able to channel & feed off of Sidious power to strengthen himself & overpower his enemy. this is why mace was the most powerful jedi (even over yoda). also Windu didn't even have the height/reach disadvantage that yoda naturally had making it much easier to take Sidious only way to beat mace was indirectly

One way i like to look at it is anakins fall to the dark side can be attributed to mace windu turning to the dark side in which he disobeyed anakins "light side " option and was about to strike down an unarmed opponent (which jedi dont do even to sith ) if only mace had listened nad didnt spend all his time learning that lightsaber technique (Juyo) which can turn you to the dark side. obviously anakin had serious dark issues but i believe mace forgot all of his believes and was blinded by rage:)

oh yes, and the´re is something i don´t get, at 2:36, when they crash force, it was said that anakin had a lot of middiclorians, int the first movie, i think 20000 or something like that, and i´ve read that he has more than yoda, so obviously he has more than Obi-Wan, but in the film, in this part, it looks they have the same force

@cuayauitl Just cause you have a midiclorian count off the scale doesn't mean you're the best with a lightsaber! Obi-wan's skill with the lightsaber in Ep. III was better than Mace Windu's! Look at him taking out Grievous--a guy with FOUR lightsabers and Obi-Wan still won!

@battlespace13 yes, yes, i know, i didn´t mean the lightsaber duel, i meant that when they fight with the force push, anakin should win, because the force is stronger in him

@battlespace13 Mace Windu almost took out Darth Sidius!! a Sith Lord!!! Master Yoda himself told Obi-wan that he wasnt ready for Darth Sidius. Mace Windu far stronger jedi than obi wan, thats what i think.

@enginetai the problem with that being that as always Sidious liked to pretend to be weaker than he was...always trying to incite people to kill him and hence fall to the dark side themselves...plus in this case it served to help get Anakin to interfere on his behalf, at which point he promptly kills Windu. (Not saying it's impossible that Windu is more powerful just that your particular argument there doesn't convince me is all)

actually, he was the chosen one, because at the end he was the one who killed the siths, i mean he killed sidious not luke, haha but he killed almost all jedis too!!
