  • @JohnnyTMv Deadlifts are good for building your hamstrings but I think they dont like them just because of the strain it puts on your lower back.I probably wouldnt do it either but I like to switch exercises every 3 months and there's really on deadlifts and hamstring curls

I ask because im going to be getting some serious shoulder surgery in 3 months, and it means ill have to take ATLEAST 2 months off lifting, and i have a pretty big physique. I basically want to preserve as much of my lean body mass as possible, just wondering what your opinion on this was.

  • Your calves should be same size as your arms to be proportioned, not like your competing but it just makes your overall physique better :) If you choose to do so, hit calves everyday like 5-6 days a week, for best results

  • @somedudey0 lol your not listening, some people have better response than others, for most, people have a hard time gaining size in calves, like arnold for example, judges said his calves were too small he said his didnt grow until he did them everyday, if you superset them, and can say your calves are same size as your arms, then good for you, but for most people, mine didnt grow either till i did them everyday, not supersetting

  • @dwyanewade21 ok man i get you, but im sure if you understand how to fatigue a muscle till reach complete failure you would get better results, example i used to do chest 2 times a week n back just once a week cuz i always had much better form on rows than press movements, i was getting bigger on both muscles but my back was always bigger and stronger, recently i improved bench press tecnique, i reach failure in less sets just 1 day n im getting more progress intensity > volume

  • Wait just a minute guys. I´m not here to tell you what to do, but why not focus on your calves? The calves are a bigger muscle than your bi-ceps, but should be about the same size. If you say you don´t train your calves, but they´re still better than average. Imagine what gains you could make if you take the time to exercise them. Standing and sitting calf raises is the shit. I really recommend training them, but it´s just an advice, you don´t have to follow it.

  • here are 2 great great exercises. pulls ups like they stated and push ups. oh man, you will see results very quickly. you'll feel so good man. soon it will be like a normal habit in your everyday life. I too messed up my back but i continue to do these everyday.
