haha trayback.. what trayback. Still total lack of progress. been busy snowboarding and just passed my bike test (new bike this sunday), I'm hoping easter weather should be good and start getting stuck in. Going to put a vid up of my dad's 5L 90 in a few days. it's sweet. Your trayback is looking great, can't wait to see it finished.
yeah I see what you mean. Nobody really carries parts or body panels so if someone does have one there super expense. And there aren't many skilled rover mechanics. Thanks for the advice.
There a little more common here I expect, also I think our 2nd hand market is quite a bit cheaper than yours.
If I were in the states I probably wouldn't go for an LR product due to the spares cost. Probably best to get something homegrown or Jap like a patrol or landcruiser.
Hi harry, yep from the diesel conversion. Engine on ebay (check description) start price is 50quid, I hope to get more for it, but it needs to go ASAP so I have the space to start tray-backing!!!!
Hopefully I'll start catching up with you, doesn't help my sister just bought an SJ that needs fixing up... not enough hours in the day :(
a small block fits ok, some of the later g-box's are probably a bit weak for mega bhp and the axles could do with being a bit stronger too if you like foot to the floor driving. Quite a few people have done this conversion I think.
Cheap range rover can be picked up from 200quid (v-bad) 1000quid(quite good)

would a small block chevy work in a land rover? How much does a range rover in poor running condition bring in the uk
