i rmmber when my cat past away, it took me almost a week to get over it. but i did. eventhough i have not fully forgotten him, i keep photos of him in my laptop. everytime i look at it tears fall down from my eye. a cat may not live very long, but it gives us long lasting memories. always remember yr cat is special. :') we all loved bonky.

Genetic...could be to keep him warm as it's cold in Scotland and big ears tend to be bad for keeping warm i.e. elephants. BUT I know of a breed of Norwegian cat (colder in Norway than in Scotland) that have large ears. So who the fuck knows.

It was actually just some sort of mutation because all Scottish Folds go back to this one cat. And some guy thought it was cool so he asked the people if he could have one of the cat's kittens and bred it. But yeah not all are born with folded ears. They're actually all born with straight ears and at like 3 weeks they get the fold (if they're going to have folded ears, that is).
