I seriously prefer Avavst Home over any of the paid for AV programs, sure they might give you a slightly high level of real time protection but that comes at a cost.

I understand why you named the video like you did but you actually just listed a complete system suite. AV+Spyware cleaner+System cleaner=Awesome.

Hope you don't mind me adding that this video just shows the tools but for the "newbs" video doesn't explain so well what the tools are. Great vid though

new way to defrag-on defraggler, defrag, then defrag free space; then use windows defrag (start, all programs, accessories, system tools, disk defragmenter.) this is the best way to defrag and organize boot files.

well i dare you to find an active runtime scanner that doesn't "slow" your comp.

also, these programs are extremely useful in their free mode. you dont have to purchase anything to use them. they do have paid versions that have more features.

@plz1687 thats called an active runtime, which avira has free by default. superantispyware has it in its paid version. you better do a full scan anyway with kaspersky because there could be dormant malware that isnt running laying around, and you dont want that.

note: my vista laptop had a conflict with regseeker: after cleaning it showed blue screen of death and asked to repair using system restore. luckily, i did make a restore point before cleaning with regseeker, so i was safe. i think this problem was linked to deleting some LEGACY entries. my laptop is the gateway fx 1920(or 1900)x1080.
