  • It's an Astovid StellaCam3.

  • I am extremely happy that you called your Astronomical Instrument Telescope a "Schmidt-Cassegrain because 1 Professional Astronomer on Youtube.com called it a "Reflector" which We all know is incorrect and that a "Schmidt-Cassegrain is the Correct answer"!!!!

  • @Jules7892 Schmidt-Cassegrain at the same time reflector too. =) It mostly reflector, it is just have Schmidt lens to correct aberrations better than only Cassegrain.

  • very informative indeed. like the setup!

  • When viewing close objects through low end telescopes and binoculars, you have to turn the focus wheel to focus in on objects, but once you range out to past 300 feet, the focus is fixed no matter what distance. That is the same focal position works for all objects. Anyone know why? Thanks.

  • @gr8vibes2

Is it because the light from the oserved object hits the telescope in an angle and not aligned? I'm not sure.

  • you are pice of shit show me the sky no fuckin telescope!!!!

  • What kind of CCD camera is that ?

  • Nice scope sold my lx50 10" while ago may get an lx90 one day preferably the 12". Thanks for the video happy stargazing !! ;-)

  • Да Meade интересные телескопы, но в России их стоимость на 50% выше чем в США, очень жаль, есть отечественный производитель с высоким качеством оптики, но не столь технологически насыщенный! Интересно бы было визуапльно понаблюдать в большой Meade.

  • some the stars are starships there telepathic if u ask them are they galactics they move

  • telaskoüüüüyüüp

  • Me want

  • huh?

  • ok :)

  • i think i know you did you use to go to college in cambridgeshire?

  • 8 or 10"

  • @JALLU75 looks like 8, and she states 8, my guess 8 :D

  • @JALLU75 on the corrector plate is says the diameter is 203 mm so 8"

  • what kind of CCD camera do you have

  • ive got the Celestial 50AZ telescope dunno if its any good but ive seen the Red Spot on Jupiter :O :D

  • Woaw Great for a blinde date !

not the dejavu feeling and boring lets go drinking but instead go watch the stars

together with a glass of champagne and let her look and dream about the far far galaxy's and stars ...

She is all yours tonight !

  • LX90's and LX200's FTW great telescopes. UHTC coatings FTW Meade got it right IMHO with those coatings. Does the LX90 serries have carbon fiber Tubes too or no? I am guessing no as thats one of the differences in cost from the LX200 line up. Very nice little setup she has there. Cheers, IC.

  • @IcechickenSr i thought the lx400 were the ones with carbon fiber. The lx200 are more expensive because they have a larger mount, MUCh larger tripod, and a diferent autostar controller with 147,000 objects instead of 30,000!!!

  • what an annoying accent...

  • @PorsukToros yeah right... it's a damn fine accent.... i bet you don't even have an accent...

  • @Basard100 believe me i have a strong accent.

  • This was very interesting. I used to observe the night sky with my Celestron 5 some 20 years ago. I take it out once in awhile to see Mars or comets. I didn't know you could attach CCD cameras like that and put the image on a big tv. That is way cool!

  • Meade is okay. Their customer supports was very bad. I was thinking about buying a Meade telescope, but may buy Celestron CPC 11 instead.

  • though i have never used meade myself I have heard from people and read reviews on the internet regarding meade. thier products seem great however i have noticed a few comments that mirrors need recoating far too quickly and thier customer service is terrible. i have used celestron SC's for over 10 years (C5 and C8) and NEVER had a problem with them. i did once break the finderscope lense and i was sent a replacment the next day free of charge. I have just ordered a 11" CGEM. cant wait!!

  • excuse me I didn't understand how much is the magnification

  • The telescope itself does not magnify objects. The purpose of the telescope is to collect light. The magnification comes from the eyepiece that you are using. However, when viewing from Earth, the magnification is not really important because once you get up to over 200x magnification, the atmospheric blurring makes it harder to see objects.
