He says " look, there are no Muslims here"...Right now, the temple mount is surrounded by Israeli soldiers..Muslim men, under a certain age, aren't allowed to enter the temple mount.

When I was there not to long ago, the Israeli soldiers didn't let me in ( they didn't like my Kufi). They decided to treat me the same way they treat Palestinians.

I eventually got in, after I returned to the Hostel, changed my clothing, and went back through another entrance, looking "not Muslim" .

Good point.  Jerusalem is NEVER mentioned in the Quran. The Temple Mount and the city should belong to the Jews. The muslims should share these places in peace with the Jews.

Dueteronomy 12:5-11 tells us that sacrifices can be brought only at the Temple.

No Temple, no sacrifice.

When the Temple is rebuilt (May G-d bring that day soon), the sacrifices will resume.

On the jewish side, they stopped the animal sacrifices because there is no more temple, according to the jewish law, sacrifice can only be made once the temple is rebuilt and the holy of holies restaured, where the presence of God is. Without the presence of God, there is no meaning of sacrifices because they were made to approche God while he remained in the temple. That's the jewish part of it. Now christian side is totally different. The temple now is our bodies and the Holy Spirit abides in.

lucky you, I'm a cohein. There was nothing ever stated about the temple besides its location. I think it would be good to find the holy of holies, if it overlaps with one of the mosques, then we should share the building according to a tight strict schedule,if not, we should be able to build a temple that doesnt interfere with mosques on the mount.The 1st temple was nothing like the second,why should the third be like the last two.I'd actually like it if they made it a small room like the Kaaba

BTW,I managed to close and cover my eyes with my hand as I said the entire Sh'Ma on the general center of the temple mount so quiet only God could hear. :)Feels good to get something you so badly it took thousands of years to get which is beyond earthly possessions.
