i listened and decided that trivium is garbage... IMO

However, I have found some good death-core bands, at least ones that i have grown to enjoy: all shall perish, the faceless, heaven shall burn (only the newest stuff), and a few others who are very borderline into actual death metal.... There is hope for that genre yet...

While Trivium's first two albums were in my opinion very good, nowadays I'd have to agree - they completely stink! But if Nathan wants to continue listening to Trivium songs, then that should not be a problem. Some people just prefer lighter forms of metal, but the fact is, all metal bands are metal in some form. Trivium and Hell Within were metalcore before moving to Thrash, Dragonforce are Fantasy/Power Metal, Suffocation are Death Metal, and this band is Brutal Death Metal. Get used to this.
