I like your style, I love the bossa Sounds and it is quite interesting on banjo, I´m also seeking for musicias around the globe to develope a friendly international jammin by sending me some of their material, would you like to join in?
I love the jazzy taste you put in these tunes. I have to admit, but this is the third day I come here and watch your videos. And, I'm kind of adicted. I know many people said this already but it's never too much to say, right? Start thinking about an engagement in music!
Ouch, I stand corrected. Although I still don't know what a "Young Girls of Rochefort" approach is. Bottom line--sing it like you wants. It sounds good no matter what.
Thank you! Yes, I was definitely going for the "Young Girls of Rochefort" approach by looking directly into the camera. I am very happy that you think it shows defiance too!
You are a gifted musician with a unique sound. You have a beautiful, expressive voice, and a unique style on the tenor banjo (most people don't finger pick the tenor--it sounds great!)Thanks for teaching us about the beautiful music of Brazil. You should be performing nationally and recording!!
Interesting song, sounded excellent. The melody does sound kind of 1950's-ish somehow-- can't determine how exactly, but I like it.
Longing and heartache stand out as themes in more of your songs lately, which is fitting since you've stirred exactly such emotions within your lovingly obsessed legions of YouTube fans. Given such an imposingly large field of suitors, you should star in a bachelorette reality show, VH1 style.
Another exellent music video by mercedezzz, thanks for the translation makes it all the more enjoyable.Don't forget to let us all know when you are doing a gig in the U.K
the best part about your videos is that your not trying to play the bango, your not trying to sing....your simply performing and your completely into each song you play! Thanks for introducing me to a genre I've never paid any attention to!!
Always enjoy your work, seeing you play/sing all these lovely Brazilian ditties are makin' me consider trying to learn all those songs on the ole gee-tar. :p Absolutely tops! Fica legal, voce.
This is great, Roberto Carlos, probably the 1st. Brazilian rock'n'roller. The song you are playing was one of his early #1 song. This song was played more than all bossanova songs together. He was the king, like Elves was. Thanks for chosing that one.

The first line on the translation is kind of wrong. Vale there is from the verb "valer", "worth" in english.
The meaning is more like : The blue sky and the shiny sun are worth nothing if you don't come...
