Yes, LRT took it into stock and ran it for a a few months until Leyland bought it back to use as an overseas demonstrator. LRT took a second bus into stock to replace it giving it the same fleet number.
Looks like the one that was new to LRT Lothian in Edinburgh which Leyland bought back to use a demonstrator. I think it was LRTs No.765 and uses a TL11 engine with bodywork by Eastern Coachworks

I like Lrt buses and would love to save up and buy an ex Lrt or previous owner after been sold by lrt

Likewise, do they sell them at auction or something? I know a few bus companies acquired the Leyland Olympians that were made throughout the 1980s.

good guess, it was an ex-LRT B770GSC, it had demonstration in Thailand and Malaysia before its service in Hong Kong
