@ThomasJKH The engineers that restored the foutain in 1992 were Blanca Jiménez de Anta Losada, Miguel Amírola Vila, Ángel Gea Vegara and Luis V. Alcalá Almansa. The fountain was built by engineer Carles Buigas for the 1929 Barcelona World Fair.

Truly magical!  If you go to Barcelona, be sure to see this!!!! Just go to the later show if you can, as it was still rather light out during the earlier one. It was still amazing, of course, just the colours did not stand out as well.

@figarobethisa - I went in April, so it's at least spring/summer. I forget the specifics, but just search for Magic Fountain Barcelona Montjuic and you should find what you need. :D

For those who are looking and want to go, the show is on Friday and Saturday nights (19:00-20:30) from October to April, and Thursday to Sunday nights (21:00-23:00) from May to September.

absolutly beautiful. i went there last week and was blown away. when they started playin the music it made me cry cos it seemed like sum strong, indestructible monument. but i didnt get to see all of it, of even when the colours really came out cos my parents were 'tired'. i love barcelona though, great city
