Brian spoke fine and sang fine when he was younger, but he suffered from a number of things, including taking too many drugs and he has some mental health issues. But, regardless of his problems, he truly is a genius that shaped pop music as the Beatles have.

It's true he's deaf in one year, but it's more likely that he's speaking terribly because he had a stroke and is schizophrenic
