It was great to see that Kristana Lochan (of Terminator 3 fame) can actually act ... Playing a not-easy role of a woman who is both a strong warrior, yet vulnerable enough to fall in love with a 'simple blacksmith'.

Pity the male they casted was a himbo!

I agree the film has a movingly tragic ending. But, it so happens, that such an ending was actually stylistically typical of Norse myth (which the film was based on).
