@MrBlaster30 Sounds like you could use a dynoport! The yfz shocks are dirrect fit with the +2+1 a-arms but they would stance nicer with a +3+1. They sit a little high currently but thats because there not internally modified like some people do. They change the valving so they sit lower, its been so long i forget exactly how. check out blasterforum for more info on all that. im 89custom on there.
I have a ported stock cylinder re-designed head boyeson radvalve....just wondering how u liked it...I just sold my dmc alien it was a good pipe just not as good as my dads an we have similar port jobs an he has a toomey an just spanks me...

No rust on any part of it so far and i've had it awhile. Highly suggest it if you have supporting mods already done. Dont use it on a stockish blaster, you dont get its full use, go with something else for just above stock blaster.

hey i have a 99 blaster i bought a few days ago i took it out for first time and in like 20 minutes it overheated, i knew why right away that the stupid fuel injector isnt giving my blaster enuff oil, so i ripped off the fuel injector and mixed my own gas, what a difference!!:)
@blasterb1tch its actually and oil injection because my blaster blew up in the dunes and thats what i did is ripped it all apart then put the oil block off kit and some other things. i currently run a 40-1 ratio with MC1 racing oil. that shit is really nice.

@4thedirtbikemaniac4 well its not jetted right as u can hear but they are only a 200cc air cooled engine with old porting. mines actually a vitos 249 kit and not ported. there alot faster with a good port job.
@mattdaman666 ooh i didnt know it was air cooled.. definitely makes a big difference. and ya getting those little extras done will make it a bit faster, might be a better idea to step up to a banshee soon though. nice bike though man, you did a great job on the restore
@4thedirtbikemaniac4 blasters aren't the faster quad out there...the 240 kits kinda stupid yea i have one and all but they are a 240cc runing off the intake size of a 200cc so its not really getting enough air. i cut the intake walls off my 240 kits and weld new wall on and a flange so i could use 250r reeds and bigger boost ports BIG gain in power id guess maybe 10-15hp gain, i belive ct racing sells them with the 250r intakes so if ur looking for some thing fast buy a banshee or a 250r

Thanks, the EBC clutch is great. Theres only the one for the blaster i belive, and if theres anything other than 1, its the one with heavy springs, which are great.
