Lots of games, movies show people falling down with their enemy, Idk why ppl always accuse SEGA and Sonic of ripping off from several stuff.. from Mario, to Zelda, to Epic Mickey, to Twilight Princess, and now Lord of the Rings?! lol Plus in that movie, The Balrog dragged Gandalf down with him. This one is different, Eggman transports Sonic down a fiery tunnel.

@nickoberon this one is pretty much a straight ripoff though, u have to get near him to kill him. In Metroid prime 3: corruption the battle against ridley is just like that except its timed and u kill ridley from a far. this is just a straight copy
