You don't take off a forward and add a defensive midfielder if you want to win a game. Would any other manager in English football have made such a negative change?
It will take time for City to get experience in the CL. It's very different from the PL. Experience is the most important thing in this competition. I expect a steady progress through the next few years and if the good work continues we might see a CL trophy for City. I have my doubts that Mancini is the right guy for City. Although we will see what happens thise season in the PL. As long as Liverpool don't win I'll be happy.
if van Buyten starts against players like Agüero (and Tevez off the bench) we are fucked....he's terrible against smaller, quick players that know how to dribble. my prediction (if van Buyten starts) we lose unless we score 3 goals (doubt that happens City is a very good team).....anyway we need two outstanding performances from Schweini and Gustavo against their midfielders/strikers
