  • So that's how a lot of songs will be written then starting with the vocals then rhythm and whatever else over that until you have a hit.

  • On the staff, where is the low E note located?

  • @TheMonkeysGoOoh It is written one octave below middle C for reasons of clarity. It actually sounds one octave lower than that even.

  • That is sooooo cool Andrew! Thx for sharing. :)

  • Great Lesson Andrew....

I´ve allways done this from hear but this is simple to understand the theory!

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nicely done Andrew. Very clear and concise. Thank you for this.

  • I dig the way u explain things , all my questions are answered with your videos ,

  • I'd be interested in a video on chord substitutions, and jazzy chords with color that can be added to really make some of these simple tunes come to life.

  • @soho2014 Seconded.

  • Great lessons Andrew!! Thank you very much!

  • I enjoy ALL of your lessons/thanks, and love studying the theory(which is my primary focus) but most of your lessons aren't basic enough.I tend to get lost.An intermediate player of 6 yrs with teacher and still get lost in the complexity of ur teaching style.

  • Thank you for another great lesson. Kudos!

  • Hello Andrew, I'm a fairly new guitarist. And I don't know almost anything about music theory. You are an amazing teacher, but with so many videos I don't really know where to start because most start up with concepts I'm not familiar with.

Could you possibly suggest a one of your videos to learn the basics?. When I go on your website (on the M.T tab) I can't seen to find anything basic.

Thank you so much!, you are truly amazing for doing these videos.

  • you rock!

  • Loved this lesson, thanks!

  • could you do one for minor chords, andrew?

  • @jsaic in minor it will me Aminor Dminor Eminor 1 . 4 . 5 progression

  • Love your video's Andrew, thank you for taking the time to create them. Is there anywhere on your site that has some kind of guide-line to what order to learn certain things in? I've gone to watch a few of your lessons and found out I needed to know a whole other subject to be able to continue. It would be nice to patch the holes in my musical knowledge.

Again, many thanks for your video's. They are a massive help, very clear and enjoyable to watch.

    Kyle.

  • first!

  • @asf1187 Congratulations. That is a great achievment...

    Great lessons, Andrew :)
