  • Watergate is overblown by the liberals to sully the name of this great man, and to lower him as if he were a common criminal. Few men have ever devoted so much of their life to the benefit of this nation, and it's absolutely unbelievable that President Nixon can be simply condemned for one act, while his contributions go largely unnoticed.

  • @PIAF22 Don't generalize. I'm a Democrat and I believe that history has gradually become kinder to Richard Nixon, and deservedly so. When I think of his legacy, I don't focus just on Watergate. I think of his ending the Vietnam War, his trip to Communist China, removing the draft, efforts in Civil Rights, ERA, and negotiating arms control with the Soviets. I also value a man who (unlike many Republicans and even some Democrats) had very humble roots and never forgot them.

  • President Richard Nixon Tape #697-29

Nixon: “A majority of people in Colorado voted for abortion, I think a majority of people in Michigan are for abortion, I think in both cases, well, certainly in Michigan they will vote for it because they think that what’s going to be aborted generally are the little black bastards.”

    Nixon Tape 700-10

Nixon: “… as I told you and we talked about it earlier, that a hell of a lot of people want to control all the Negro bastards.”

  • Yes and Hitler loved Eva Braun. Behave yourselves, this kind of rubbish is why the rest of the world loathes America. And dveilindeepbluesea, save your evangelical crap for the Phelps family.

  • @supernumery Pathetic human being,.....I would not save such worthless shit like you period

  • Dear God, some of you people are ill. Nixon was a psychotic, alcoholic who disgraced himself and his country. If your, 'justice for all' policy had been applied he'd have lived his life out in Leavenworth.

  • @supernumery Dear God, help this person, superintheirownmind, and do not judge them as they ignorantly judge others.

  • @devilndeepbluesea God bless you! Glad to see people like you on a hateful website like YouTube!

  • @devilndeepbluesea No doubt you must be one of the burned out selfish hippies from the baby boob generation. The world would have been a better place with your kind.

  • You may like or not like Nixon, but he obviously loved his wife.

  • Nixon was terrible. History won't change that. He had a complex that everyone was out to get his and as a result he never trusted anyone. Watergate turned him into a crook.

  • Nixon-Agnew 2012

  • god sent us an angel, who tried to save the world, and all we remember him is for something every politician has always and will continue to do.

  • the man who really won the cold war and secured peace for a half century, got out of Vietnam and would have saved South Vietnam if Congress hadn't decided to fuck him over by cutting off their aid.

  • Altho I did not support Nixon on the war in Viet Nam, my heart really went out to him seeing his heartache at loosing his wife. I do admire the man for the many great things he did to try for a true and lasting peace. It is sad that he is most remembered for one misstep ironically now know as the suffix "Gate".

  • I'm sure as he stood looking at her casket he silently apologised for using her as his punching bag when thing went wrong for him. Her black eyes and bruises, her having to hide from public view when her injuries were visible. Yes I'm sure he regretted that as she was laid to rest. Rest in peace Mrs Nixon, rest in peace.

  • Indeed both Nixon & Reagan were greatest US Presidents something that no one can say about asshole thugs like Kennedys Carter Clintons & that long legged long eared black bastard Oba-Houssein Osabama in the democrats camp. America is nose diving because of cock sucker US-haters like Carter in the democrats camps. The world will not be a safe place until Americans remove all democrats from power for good.

  • @fraizer57: You're an idiot but at least you made me laugh. !!

  • this guy may have been shady, but he did more for this county than most US presidents(i.e Carter, Bush , and Obama)

  • @msmithstud He didn't end the war in vietnam genius.

  • @NewWaveFan1 i never mentioned vietnam genius. I was referring to his foreign policy with China. Unemployment rate while he was in office remained below 6%. He put an end to the draft.

  • @msmithstud He was a crook.

  • @NewWaveFan1 What did he steal? Go ahead, tell us numbnuts.

  • @devilndeepbluesea shutup you english wanker. Your not even American so shut up.

  • Jeb, let's just tell them we made a mistake...

  • Historians will be forever grateful for the Nixon tapes. he will be the most remembered figure of the 20th Century

  • It's tragic...if only he had allowed more people to see his human side, I believe that Waterside would not have created nearly the backlash that it did.

  • the man was a pig. deal with it.

  • I am an Australian and I always find it amazing how many Americans there are that criticise what is quite possibly your greatest President ever. There are very few Presidents that accomplished as much as he did, and there is none that had a better understanding of Foreign policy. I wish the modern world had leaders as insightfull and itelligent as him. A truly great leader.

  • @CARLTON8421 the reason so many people critisized him because of the media that bashed him and made him hated just as it did the vietnam war. i think he was a amazing president and should never be shown disrespect

  • @CARLTON8421 Thank you.

  • @CARLTON8421

there is no doubt that many aspects of his presidency were paradoxical

  • @CARLTON8421 Greatest president ever? Secret bombings of Laos and Cambodia (illegal under US law) that contributed to the rise of the Khmer Rouge? Implementing the HMOs while explicitly acknowledging they're geared towards less health care and more corporate profit? Funding the overthrow of the democratically-elected government of Chile in favour of the most brutal dictator in Latin America? Abusing power to order IRS audits of political opponents? "Great leader"? Really?

  • Oh, for the foreign policy wisdom of Richard Nixon today!

  • I had the honor to be mentioned by this man who was tenacious and had courage to fight.

Since the begining I agreed with him.

    Thank You.

Good Bye to former Mr. President Nixon

  • I hated the crook BUT you must feel sorry for the poor guy

  • He'll be the most studied figure of the 20th Century because of the tapes.

  • i really have liked nixon since reading some of his books just his knowledge of world affairs blows the doors off some presidential contenders these day much smarter than people like goldwater or other republicans in his era

  • @jasmcc1

I personally think Barry Goldwater was the best Presidential CANIDATE. As for President-Nixon takes the cake.

  • Tears for the million dead Vietnamese, Laotians, Cambodians civilians and nearly 35,000 American GIs who died during Nixon's War. Thanks, Dick!

  • @iboudiop

what a silly and naive words of you.

First at all Nixon NEVER started the Asian war: this was Kennedy!!!! (with a pre of Eisenhower).

    Nixon STOPPED the war!

    Nixon OPENED China

Nixon OPENED speaking terms with Sovjet Union!!!

  • @sjefdevries: Maybe you were asleep 1968-1974. Nixon promised to stop the war, instead, he and Kissinger expanded it to Laos and Cambodia. Nixon authorized CIA FBI to destroy the anti-Vietnam War movement. Nixon's "Watergate" began the conservatives movement's use of dirty-tricks politics, continuing today with Fox News (Nixon media consultant Roger Ailes) & the Tea Party. Conservative hardliners HATED Nixon's China/Russia policy; LIBERAL PROGRESSIVES always saw though the Cold War jingoism.

  • @iboudiop Liberal progressives are what started world war two with their mindless pacifism and bankrupted government by using it to steal from people

  • @andrelebaron What you just said makes absolutely no sense. Republicans were the ones who generally preached isolationism and pacifism, while the Democrats (and FDR) were criticized as warmongers.

  • @sjefdevries . . .and another thing: If Afghanistan is "Obama's War," though started by the Bush regime, then Vietnam WAS "Nixon's War" though begun by Eisenhower--a Republican, remember?

  • love it watching these guys die

  • Geez, give the guy a break. He loved his wife. That's obvious here.

  • How on earth can a commentator say Watergate would be rememberd as a "small blip". It was a horrific break of trust with the American people, every bit as much as a betrayl as Iran-Contra or Teapot Dome.

  • @notredamehesamighty In all seriousness, what crime was committed in Watergate except burglary? Iran Contra was a much bigger deal than Watergate was. Teapot Dome was bigger than both of these capers. Watergate has been so distorted and magnified that people lock and step say that Watergate was such a bad thing, but they can't explain what it was even about.

  • I am glad to see that there are a lot of people who respect this great man. I am pretty sad to see him cry.

  • Who's the guy at 2:26 to 2:41 ?

  • @supercreamysperm im not quite sure, but it looks like Alexander Haig...

  • @parkhurst2006 Oh, I see, Gen. Haig. That would make sense, cause Haig was Nixon's Chief Of Staff.

  • @supercreamysperm Alexander Haig.

  • @MIKESOWELL Oh, that's Gen. Haig. Didn't recognise him. Thanks !

  • Nixon was great, I dont give a damn about watergate crap, he was just trying to help his friends, thinking with his heart.

  • Nixon had more common sense, intelligence and political savy than the last 4 joke occupants of the White House combined.. He brought himself down with his ego and character flaws. And his speeches make B.O. look like an amateur.

  • poor guy...

  • EPA, we all know of it, but did everyone know, President Nixon was the one who created that agency

  • Comment removed

  • pres. nixon was my commander in chief, when i was a soldier in 1974. i l loved him then and i love him still, great man ,great statesman.

  • @dcarrero26 my grandfather had 4 commander in chiefs, he served from 54-74 and history will tell that all preisdents have their flaws and perfections

  • @ktwarner87 if you can, thank grandpa for his service to our country. it is greatly appriciated.

  • Silent Coupe 1991, read the reviews at least. You will then see what a bunch of liars the Media has always been.

  • In many ways, Nixon did great for a president. In many ways, he was horrible and one of the worst. All in all, he was his own worst enemy more than any other president there's ever been. A complex person, rather insecure, shy and paranoid, but he indeed was frail and human underneath his exterior "tough" facade. Even the biggest Nixon hater might feel sorry for the old guy at a time like this. And he didn't last much longer without Pat obviously.

  • I'm sure he wasn't crying like this on November 22nd, 1963

  • @joeylodes You are a total and complete idiot. Do not speak, think, or write untill you educate yourself.

  • the first few seconds on this clip really made my heart melt! I could not stand seeing Nixon crying his eyes out! Pat was an ideal wife and helpmate. She NEVER ONCE turned her back on him even during watergate.

  • Nixon's greatest asset was his ability to sum people up.Emotionally he was a cripple.

  • I think Nixon did the country a lot of good. He got us back on track after the turbulence of the 1960's, and he made significant advances in foreign policy. Watergate was a stupid mistake, but that is all you can say. George McGovern, who was willing to debase the United States by crawling on his hands and knees to Hanoi, would have been a disaster. Knowing everything I know, I would vote for Nixon, not McGovern, even today.

  • @mindspring57 Nixon put the Southern Stratgey in place and Watergate was not just a stupid mistake and the fact that he kept lying about it was too much. I still pray for his soul and its true he did many great things, but let's be honest when discussing his legacy.

  • @peachkim Nixon had serious deficiencies, there is no denying that.

  • Pat Nixon was most beautiful first Lady of USA ever ...She was 81 yo in June 1993. Richard Nixon died next year in April 1994 sharply ten month later same age of 81 yo ...R.Nixon was too heartbroken without her loved wife. He loved very much Pat. PATRICIA NIXON WAS MOST BEAUTIFUL AND ELEGANT US FIRST LADY 0F 1969-1974!

  • A pawn of the bankers. That is Nixon. Anything for money.

  • not a bad man just a deeply flawed individual whose paranoia and bitterness overshadowed his great political skill

  • I felt bad for the man, too, but don't let's let compassion turn us into apologists for Nixon's scandal-laced career. The Watergate tapes clearly captured him conspiring to obstruct justice, manipulating the FBI and the CIA, and paying off E. Howard Hunt with a cool $ MILLION to keep him quiet about that little "Bay of Pigs thing" (JFK assassination)!.His sabotage of LBJ's Viet Nam policy prolonged the war and was considered treason by LBJ. Prescott Bush gave him his start; you do the math.

  • @justintoast For LBJ to think badly of another politician is a true case of the pot calling the kettle black.

  • @mindspring57 Don't get me wrong~ I agree with you 100%. They were both as dirty as dirt.

  • He was a typical politician (corrupt). Piece of shit!

  • what was nixon doing in dallas the night before the kennedy assination?anyone comment?

  • @cullinane8888 I believe he was a lawyer at the time representing Pepsi-Cola. I might be wrong. But he was definitely on some business trip. He must have been. I don't know. Read his memoirs. He would have definitely told the truth there.

  • I love everyone's 1990s accent.

  • I feel very sorry for President Nixon here. Whatever his faults, no one must scorn a man who lost his reason to live.

Dick Nixon´s raison d´etre: Pat Nixon.

  • @007rocksalotmann I feel sorry for the 2 million Vietnamese and I don't know how many Cambodians who died. I also feel sorry for the Chileans. I feel sorry for many people from the Third World. My folks are from a Third World country. That's my bias.

  • @USASecretHistory , I respect your opinion.

  • @007rocksalotmann Thank you. I appreciate it.

  • If we read some of his books, then only we will realize his capacity to read

the mind other world leaders. He was a brilliant person, a great orator and a seasoned politician.

  • @MrGoodsamaritan So was Stalin.

  • Is Pat Nixon the first and only former first lady to have a live Funeral while others it is just in the evening news. Well you give late Presidents live Funerals but not first ladies.

  • @v19d No she isn't. Three first ladies have died in the past 20 years; Pat Nixon, Jackie Kennedy, and Lady Bird Johnson. All of them had funeral services which were broadcast on television.

  • @fox9ninja. True, however in my opinion, he IS in the highest rank of presidents

  • R.I.P President Richard Nixon. He was a honest and good man!

  • he certainly had successes with foreign affairs. but he also shit the nest.

  • If Nixon had not gone through Watergate, he would be up there in the ranks of presidents with Lincoln, FDR, and Jefferson.

  • If you don't tear watching this your not human. A brilliiant man and a great man.

  • Nixon died the next year because he was too heartbroken. You can see it.

  • @TheSteffen1223: Pity the fucker didn't die in 1969.

  • I can't remember who it was, but someone said that he wouldn't last a year without Pat, well they were right. He was lost without her.

  • It's hard when the political giants show their emotions like this in public. Wether you hated or liked him, you can only feel sympathy for Nixon seeing him that distraught.

  • In my own country we have had many brilliant political leaders (Churchill among others). However, I have never wept over the achievements or loss of any other politician as I have (on many occasions) over Richard Nixon. I have read extensively about his upbringing and life as a whole. The real tragedy is that a botched break-in, not instigated by him, brought his presedency to a premature ending. He was covering for those closest to him. Above all, he was a great and brilliant human being.

  • Without Watergate Richard Nixon would've Gone Down as 1 of the Best President's in American History.

  • Nixon to Dubya: his "alleged" high crime covering up a 3rd rate burglary cause he wanted to end a war. W. committed war crimes and allowed 9-11 and sparked 2 wars we'll be involved in for the rest of my lifetime,

  • Nixon was one of the most brilliant U.S. presidents in history, ranking with Wilson, Hoover and J.Q. Adams in that category. While he may have had his flaws, he did quite a bit of good for the country. I think without Watergate, Nixon might have been able to end the Cold War with Russia nearly twenty years early. Too bad it was not to be.

  • @leoricoftristram

People CONSTANTLY view Nixon with biased opinions. If you have to rank him low, rank him low on moral authority. The truth is that, while he made his mistakes (Cambodia, Watergate), he also brokered relationships with Communist China which I believe only he could have done. He did many good things in office, but everyone thinks Watergate brought him down, but it didn't. Nixon brought himself down because of his rampant paranoia.

  • People have also been misled for decades about Watergate. Most people today think Nixon was explicitly involved with Watergate at very core and that he personally ordered it. The truth is that he was not even involved with it. His underlings were involved in it (and I don't mean the actual burglars) and his mistake was trying to cover it up, but he never ordered anybody to do anything prior to the break in. I am a very liberal Democrat so my views may seem odd but you need to be realistic.

  • I hope that this comment isn't misinterpreted or voted down, but this is one of the only times (if not the only time) I have ever felt true and sincere empathy for Richard Nixon. He tried so hard to mask his emotions in private and in public, but this makes him appear human. You can tell how much Pat really did mean to him.

  • @NeilFraudstrong

Very good post. I think he was raised holding his emotions in check. We saw a very very rare glimpse, perhaps, of the real...real Richard Nixon. I know at the time it did my heart good to know that he did, indeed, love Pat.

  • Watching him sob is enough to make your heart tear. It's just so sad.

  • You can see why he died the next year.

  • Oh yeah man. Damn.

  • @TheSteffen1223 Someone at the time of Pat's death wrote that Nixon "wouldn't last a year" without Pat. They were very right.

  • It's impossible to know but I'd love to see how Nixon would be viewed without Watergate.

  • @jksonny

That angers me SO much. People consistently rank Nixon low on the lists of all time greatest presidents because of Watergate, but he was well above average. People also think he orchestrated Watergate. He didn't. He had nothing to do with it. It was the sycophants in his administration and he covered it up out of personal loyalty and got in too deep.

I am a proud Democrat, but I am also a realist. I really hate how people rank him low. Rank him low on morality, not Watergate.

  • Nixon did very well in the WH, it's just Watergate that stained his presidency and maybe Vietnam. The real scumbag was LBJ.

  • LBJ would be considered a near great President had it not been for Vietnam.

I believe both men had flaws and made MANY mistakes. But they were both good Presidents. LBJ passed a lot of laws trying to make the country a better place; and it would have worked too had it not been for(as he called it) "That bitch of a war".

  • despite water gate, i think that nixon was a good president

  • @samdiego Here here!

  • I had the honor of meeting Mr. Nixon on two occasions. First in 1970, then again in 1972 at the election victory party. My father was on the RNC at the time and was often invited to many events at which the President attended. All I can say is as a kid of 10 in 1970, and 12 in 1972, he was a very nice man and very kind to me personally. I am lucky to have photos of us together. He truly was a genius in foreign policy and a great, great President, and now (to me) more than ever, he is missed.

  • Wow, I'm really jelous. I was actually born a year before he died. I respect President Nixon, quite a bit. His only real foible was Watergate, but compared to all else he did, it really is only a small blemish.

  • WOW mr. racer500gp! I envy you. I wish I met Nixon.

  • @racer500gp Thank you for sharing your meeting with President Nixon. It must have been wonderful as a child to meet an important person in our country.

  • @racer500gp he was a damn crook

  • @racer500gp Too bad he was an utter crook and fraud. Stalin was nice with his grandchildren and Hitler loved dogs - so what?

  • @racer500gp That's amazing, you were very lucky. It's a shame that his many successes (foreign policy with the USSR and China) are often massively overshadowed by the Watergate scandal. I see him to be a man of self-respect and honour but with his own personal demons that came from his less than privileged past, I was very moved by his final speech before he left the Whit House.

  • He may have been a crook for water gate but in my oppinion he was a pretty good president

  • He did do many wonderful things for this country. He will be missed.

  • Thebeatledude has to be a troll. He called me an idiot in the "Nixon suffers a Stroke" video. How Nixon is responsible for a psycho who shot Lennon in the back is beyond me. Nixon was a man, a flawed man yes, but a man who stood up for blacks when it all his life. He hated seeing people picked on. In fact, John Kennedy wasn't the gentlemen he was made out to be. He was arrogant, uncouth, spoiled and downright nasty at times- to those who served him no purpose.

  • and no, dumb ass, im not a troll. im just not a dumbass either. anyone that could ever say anything good about nixon is half retarted. but youre right and im wrong, because all the good presidents get kicked out of office right?

  • That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard! Now Nixon is the reason a psycopath tragically killed John Lennon?!? I tend to use bad language like you did above sometimes, but I'll not defile this memorial to President Nixon spewing hatred back to you...in kind. Nixon had no more to do with Lennon's assasination than poor Jodie Foster had to do with the attempt on President Reagan's life...you idiot! I feel safe saying that, because even Christ called an "idiot" and "idiot" when it was warranted!

  • no, dumbass. watch the movie "The U.S vs. John Lennon" itl change your mind... J Edgar Hoover and Nixon had more than one person silenced because they were thought to harm the agenda of the high government.

  • OK...so Hoover and Nixon spied on anti-war activists. Pray tell...what in the FUCK does that have to do with an insane gunman assasinating Lennon 6 years after Nixon resigned???

  • im not onna sit here and argue with you. obvoiusly history shows hes a crook and the most awfull president of all time, him and bush have a toss up. but trust me, he was involved with the lennon assasination. he got in the way, they trued to deport him, it didnt work, so they had him done away with.

  • You are an idiot.

  • okay. im an idiot becauce you dis agree with me? lol. okay.

  • No, because you claim Nixon was involved in the assassination of a somewhat unimportant person, 6 years after he left the white house. It makes no sense. Sorry, its just silly.

  • Comment removed

  • i swear to god there is not another video on all of youtube with more unintelligent people than right here. you guys make the jonas brothers and hannah montana videos look sophisticated.

  • Man, you have no logic. The Beatles were just a band, and not really as important as you are trying to make them. Its not like they could actually change much at all.

  • are you serious? the fbi had lennon deported because of the work he was doing in the peace movement. i swear to god ethiopians have more intelligence and stupid fucking americans. its people like you, and who ever else is stupid enough to say anything good about this crook that make america the most hated country in the world. and nixon had nothing to do with the beatles. it was all hoover and nixon vs. lennon. keep your dumb ass mouth shut if youre going say stupid stuff like that.

  • You are nothing but a troll. Taking shit movies, like US v Lennon, at face value is just awful. Lennon himself would have hated what types like you have made him into being.

Nixon did many good things for this country, as a matter of fact, the shit he did, did more too ruin our own view of ourselves. The rest of the world was rather fond of him. He started good relations with China, and started detente with the Soviets. Its idiots like you, who should keep their dumb mouths shut.

  • i cant believe there are actually people in the world as unintelligent as you. how do you live? i feel sorry for you.

  • You have no more argument, you are now just accusing me of being an idiot for lack of a better thing to say.

Its okay for you to have your opinion, I'm not one to say there is an absolute truth. BUT when your opinion is based on nothing but accusatory statements and insults, I cannot give you credit for any level of intelligence.

  • okay man chase me around youtube and contradict everything i say. youre a cool dude you know that. no matter what you say, send me 100000 comments and messages. i dont care. every one you send just makes me that much more happy. i love seeing stupid people like you say stupid shit. it is so funny. so just keep on keepin on man. youre making my day.. its a shame that you have let the american society tell your mind how to speak, think, and act.

  • I live in the UK. Keep that in mind. Its just sad to see such fun guys like you know obviously have no understanding of the real world. Im guessing you watch videos on the NWO and believe them too, right?

What exactly have I said that is stupid? I mean actually stupid, not just something you disagree with?

  • No, I don't believe in the NWO and never have. I don't understand the problem here. If you live in the U.K then you have no idea about the American society and how it is manipulated and thought controled by the government. They are bred to hate outsiders that look, speak, and feel differently than them. go look at videos where someone is speaking german or japanese and they will say "Speak english" in their comment. Like the entire world should do what they do. it's pathetic.

  • I ran out of room in that last comment. Its pathetic that people of other nationalitys are shunned and viewed as a terrorist just because they are middle easten. or as a dirty jap just because they are japanese. or a piece of shit nazi if they are german. If you don't live in America then don't act like you know how people here are. it makes me sick. you are lucky to be from the uk.

  • Having spent the majority of the first part of my life in the US, I would know it as well as anyone. All those supposed problems you see in the US, are universal. You get British National Party types knocking on doors and telling everyone to act British and speak english. Mind you, we have a fraction of the population that you have, and have twice as many CCTV cameras. Three million. There are more in London than in all of the US. You act like the US is especially bad but you don't realize

  • i def. dont think its special. but im done with this argument. its stupid. you believe how you believe and i believe how i believe. thats it

  • Point proven.

  • the only point youve proven is that you just like to argue. thats why im stopping because everything i say youre just going to conradict it.

  • America is very special. It means freedom to all the world. We are created as as a nation by our Divine Creator.....We are very special.

  • Damn. That's when you know a man TRULY loves his wife. I'm not a big Nixon fan but that was sad to watch.

  • For all you immature pricks here is probably something your parents never taught you,

"Respect the dead bodies of your brave enemies"

  • Aside from Watergate Nixon was a great president. He opened doors to China and Russia, was brilliant on foreign policy, indeed he & JFK were friends. He also got rid of the draft and gave 18 year olds the right to vote.

always need to see a person's whole life, we ALL make mistakes. We are all God's children but some people who protested at the man's funeral are disgusting.

Some Democrats thought he was except for Watergate one of the best presidents we ever had.

  • Opening the doors to China was one of the worst things he did, now they've become a hybrid capitalist monstrosity with a Communist dictatorship. We don't even have the industrial base to fight a major war with them because all our factories are over there. Watergate was only one of his corrupt actions, this man was so power hungry he sabotaged LBJ's Paris peace talks and worked with the enemy to become president. Btw, it is irrelevant but he and JFK were only friends early in their House careers

  • False. Vice President Nixon allowed Senator John F. Kennedy to use the VP's ceremonial office in the Capitol after JFK almost died in back surgery...gave him use of the VP's office to JFK simply to make it easier for JFK to make it to the Senate Floor to cast votes and do his job.

He also wept as Vice President after seeing JFK in the hospital when he was near death. You do not know SHIT about your history. Irrelevant? A power-mad monster wouldn't do such a thing as this.

  • Please don't go "tit for tat" with words of hate and contempt. These exchanges on sites truly highlight the worst in dems and repubs, both parties are guilty of it. I think, and hope I'm right, that this is a minority that don't have much going for them except to spew their anger. Anyone who writes profanity, words of hatred, are just sad pitiful people. Most Americans, R's and D's, just want the country to come together and get well. Let's stop the divisiveness. Ignore these malcontents.

  • As if I was close to being done...

God liberals are some horrible horrible people. You make me ashamed to be an American sometimes. The hate you show towards people who don't believe the same as you is astounding. As you have hoped for this fine man--I am sure there is a special place in hell for you.

    You sicken me..

God bless President and Mrs. Nixon

  • What in the Sam hell is wrong with you people? Dear God!! A man died here...He has children and grandchildren. Would you want them to see your nasty comments?

I can't stand Bill Clinton but I would be respectful of his family and what he did if he passed away.
