Guitar legends have always been in Guitar Hero since GH3. In that, there was Slash and Tom Morello, in World Tour, we got Ozzy Osbourne, Travis Barker, Sting, Jimi Hendrix, Ted Nuegent, Zakk Wylde, & Hailey Williams. GH:M had King Diamons & Lemmy.
