@Raamz124 Summoner is coming as a job, most likely to a beastmaster-type class in 2.0 or possibly even before then.It won't get Ifrit/Shiva etc but Carbuncle is confirmed. they use lesser ones. There's a new system wherein each class can unlock an advanced job via quests and earn skills/gear to wear on those class while equipped with that job. So conjurer unlocks white mage and when its wearing the white mage job stone/title thing it can wear the white mage AF and equip/cast regen etc.
lol Any 2-4core and 2-4RAM and any good Video card can run this game at mid too high setting. The look of this demo is noting like how FFXIV really going to look like but Raptrue too ffxiv was a big jump and very nice looking game. one of the main city you can pick from does some what look like this just not this high end stuff tho.

Uhhh.... That wasn't a trailer of Kingdom Hearts 3, but rather of Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, which will be released for PSP in January-February 2010 in Japan. So... Yeah, something DID come out of that. And WTH, they never said it was a gameplay trailer, it's clearly a prerendered teaser-trailer.
Also, Birth By Sleep will have a secret trailer of its own (which you can see by completing the game 100% or something) which will show the next Kingdom Hearts game (which STILL might not be KH3)

Well the whole reason it ran off 360 is because of what Grunt Style said, about the multiplatform tools they have used called "Crystal Tools". PS3 wasn't even relevant in 2005.
But this just smell's of Sony paid a ass load for Time Exclusive right's for consoles, and will end up on 360 sometime soon after. Cause knowing SquareEnix, they will want and try make as much possible off FFXIV.

When Microsoft gives in and lets ff14 be for 360 it will run on it. When the game started being made it was based off of the 360's engine. So it will be able to run on it. And its only a matter of time before microsoft folds and lets it be on the 360. The same thing happened with ffxi. Square and Microsoft couldnt reach an agreement on infringment and legal shit, but eventually microsoft folded because alof of people play on the 360.
The game was based of SE's own Crystal Tools custom engine, originally named the "White ENgine". And will be compatible with all 7th gen consoles. Including the Wii.

Yeah so far Sony and SE says exclusively for PC and PS3. This game seems highly graphically intensive. When they put FFXI on 360 I was like okay and bought it like an idiot. FFXI looks better and runs better on my PC than my XBOX. And XBOX's online you have to pay for. I think Square Enix wants to move away from that especially since PS3 and Playstation Home which is like an online free game anyways which helps friends chat and play the game.

Ugh, why does everyone feel like Square needs to make it more newb and solo friendly? Play WoW. That's why there is different games out there..different games for different people. Some people enjoy these deep MMOs that don't hold your hand all the way through the game. If you wanna do the endgame raids and look uber 1337 h4x0r cool after a couple weeks of playing, get WoW.
FFXI, EVE etc are some of the last real challenging MMOs out there. Don't take that away from us. =/
i think the reason for this game is, when ffix's economy died and the games population started declining, square realized they fucked up with ffxi, and figured in a matter of years it would gradually fade away, not only that but ffxi was so incredibly time consuming to a point where people are spending almost all day playing, WoW didnt require the huge time investments because you didnt have to rely on other people all the time, thats why in online game people want the ability to solo.
The economy hasn't declined actually. I'm so tired of seeing people bring that up. That was in like, what, 2005 or 2006? Please find another point to press. The economy is much more stable and players controlled now. I agree with HybridNinja go play WoW if you want an easy game and leave the difficult ones to the intelligent people.
um. i played ffxi, i had a 75 and everything, i tried wow and i didnt like it, and yes, before i quit ffxi, a lot of prices on a lot of things dropped dramatically, and just because WoW is solo friendly doesn't make it an easy game. the reason why WoW is better is because it doesnt require you too devote your entire life to it, whereas ffxi, you have to sit on that game for hours and hours, to accomplish anything.

Realize that when Blizzard quotes their player base, they include all the disabled and trial accounts. WoW isn't as amazingly huge as they make it out to be.
FFXI is now over 7 years old. And it's still alive, and it's subscription based. It's one of the only MMO's to do so.
WoW has now become too easy, it's player base is tired of it's repeated instancing. It's the same boss, with a different look.
It's actually not a sinking ship. You should also do some research as well before you try to act like you're informed on a subject. It subscribers are actually rising on a normal basis due to people leaving the poor MMOs with horrible content and no endgame material. The economy and fine and the game is thriving :) Research. square enix said when this comes out they want both games to co-exsist, in my opinion, some players might play both, some mght switch over to this one, some people will prolly stay with XI, or be like me and quit XI and give this game a chance. But i also think that XI will be arounf for another year and a half, to 2 years, given that this game isn't released before that. Which in a slight chance could cancel out XI =/

Well the whole reason it ran off 360 is because of what Grunt Style said, about the multiplatform tools they have used called "Crystal Tools". PS3 wasn't even relevant in 2005.
But this just smell's of Sony paid a ass load for Time Exclusive right's for consoles, and will end up on 360 sometime soon after. Cause knowing SquareEnix, they will want and try make as much possible off FFXIV.

When Microsoft gives in and lets ff14 be for 360 it will run on it. When the game started being made it was based off of the 360's engine. So it will be able to run on it. And its only a matter of time before microsoft folds and lets it be on the 360. The same thing happened with ffxi. Square and Microsoft couldnt reach an agreement on infringment and legal shit, but eventually microsoft folded because alof of people play on the 360.

Graphic wise this game is gonna own hardcore, if they made the game more appealing than FFXI (end-game wise, no more let me camp a 3hour window only to lose to a bot) This game has a chance on being on WoW's lvl (based off of subscriptions nvr really liked WoW myself.)

I was too thought it was dying, then i played warhammer online and realized what a real sinking failboat really is. FFXI is fine, and even with XVI should last a tad longer.
XVI is its successor and will no doubt carry on the flame.

Yeah so far Sony and SE says exclusively for PC and PS3. This game seems highly graphically intensive. When they put FFXI on 360 I was like okay and bought it like an idiot. FFXI looks better and runs better on my PC than my XBOX. And XBOX's online you have to pay for. I think Square Enix wants to move away from that especially since PS3 and Playstation Home which is like an online free game anyways which helps friends chat and play the game.

Ugh, why does everyone feel like Square needs to make it more newb and solo friendly? Play WoW. That's why there is different games out there..different games for different people. Some people enjoy these deep MMOs that don't hold your hand all the way through the game. If you wanna do the endgame raids and look uber 1337 h4x0r cool after a couple weeks of playing, get WoW.
FFXI, EVE etc are some of the last real challenging MMOs out there. Don't take that away from us. =/

i think the reason for this game is, when ffix's economy died and the games population started declining, square realized they fucked up with ffxi, and figured in a matter of years it would gradually fade away, not only that but ffxi was so incredibly time consuming to a point where people are spending almost all day playing, WoW didnt require the huge time investments because you didnt have to rely on other people all the time, thats why in online game people want the ability to solo.

The economy hasn't declined actually. I'm so tired of seeing people bring that up. That was in like, what, 2005 or 2006? Please find another point to press. The economy is much more stable and players controlled now. I agree with HybridNinja go play WoW if you want an easy game and leave the difficult ones to the intelligent people.

um. i played ffxi, i had a 75 and everything, i tried wow and i didnt like it, and yes, before i quit ffxi, a lot of prices on a lot of things dropped dramatically, and just because WoW is solo friendly doesn't make it an easy game. the reason why WoW is better is because it doesnt require you too devote your entire life to it, whereas ffxi, you have to sit on that game for hours and hours, to accomplish anything.

FFXIs economy didnt die. FFXIs population isnt declining. IDK where you get your facts but theyre all wrong. SE didnt fuck up with ffxi, its one of the most innovated mmos out there. Just because you and some others didnt like it doesnt mean it was a bad game. FFXI just hit 2mil accounts last month which is the highest its ever been since its release. Not as many as wow but if ffxi just hit its most accounts ever, they must be doing something right and If you want more solo why play an mmo?

Realize that when Blizzard quotes their player base, they include all the disabled and trial accounts. WoW isn't as amazingly huge as they make it out to be.
FFXI is now over 7 years old. And it's still alive, and it's subscription based. It's one of the only MMO's to do so.
WoW has now become too easy, it's player base is tired of it's repeated instancing. It's the same boss, with a different look.

It subscribers are actually rising on a normal basis due to people leaving the poor MMOs with horrible content and no endgame material. The economy and fine and the game is thriving :) Research. square enix said when this comes out they want both games to co-exsist, in my opinion, some players might play both, some mght switch over to this one, some people will prolly stay with XI, or be like me and quit XI and give this game a chance. But i also think that XI will be arounf for another year and a half, to 2 years, given that this game isn't released before that. Which in a slight chance could cancel out XI =/
